Pictures of Aubergine and Ursa side by side?

I'm trying to decide between those 2 colors and would like to see if you all have photos of the colors you can post side by side as a comparison. I know there is one on here, but the lighting is too dark for me to really see the colors. Please and thank you.

I think there are some pictures that b1gsky posted. Check the Cafe Bag Colors thread where I also excerpted some of her earlier pictures from Colour Choices - Ursa or Aubergine or Nebulous Grey? thread. Because of the vBulletin forum update and reindexing, links in posts earlier than 2021 don't work correctly.

Thank you. Yes, I have seen that thread but the pics are so dark, I really cannot get a good idea of how they actually look. I know it has really helped some others...maybe my eyes just aren't good, lol. Thank you though.

I hesitated mentioning this but I have 8 cats, lol. Don't judge me - I did volunteer in cat rescue for over 20 years....these were ones that were feral or didn't do well in the adoptions. The last one that got homed with me was in 2013...they are all seniors. It is like a dang assisted living facility for the elderly in my house, lol.

On another note - I love the aubergine but been intrigued by the ursa. I am waiting on the Synik 22s to come back in stock....aubergine has the NWS interior and Kat said she doesn't know what will come out in the next batch after this.... The ursa has a lovely seafoam interior! I am on the fence!!!

I'd go for the Ursa/Seafoam to have something a wee bit more unusual, since Seafoam is on the way out... if you get it and test pack it correctly and think 'meh', you can send it back and get Aubergine/NWSky.

FWIW, Aubergine is often paired classically with Wasabi, so I'd expect to see that combo come around again too, even if it's not actively in the next batch.

And yay for adopting rescue kitties!

Is it more of a brown like your pics? I know colors are hard to capture...but I've found these and they all look so different. Since you have it, what do you think in relation to these guys?

Ursa can look almost grey like that Paradigm in the pic to the left, depending on lighting.

You can add that to the range epeterson showed

Ursa really changes colour depending on the light and what it's next to... You really should request a free swatch to get an idea.

It's definitely a brown but not (to me) a primary Crayola brown. It reminds me of brown bark and of course Ursa=bear

Hmmm, you might want to follow up and ask.
If you've ordered before, it would show up as a zero dollar order.
If you aren't a customer, I don't know if it shows up.

The pictures of bags on the right are Coyote, not Ursa. Someone else to back me up on that? I don’t recall whether they made the Smart Alec in an Ursa 525d Ballistic option for the preorder last year. They did do some new color combos like Wilderness/Taiga, and I know they did Coyote 1050d Ballistic/Northwest Sky. Neither of those bags looks to me like Ursa. Just saying.
