Proposal: A new measurement unit for Tom Bihn bag capacity

Now we know what Tom's favourite tipple is, I thought I would share my proposal for an alternative way to measure the capacity of his bags: Spaten units. As you can see below, 45 Spaten units (aka steins) will fit into an Aeronaut, while 16 half-Spatens will fit into the Medium Cafe Bag.

Time to fill those glasses up. Cheers from my deck.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... Can we start a beer/liquor/wine thread!!!???? Is Spaten Tom's favorite and if so which brew, or is it just good beer in general? I'll start it if I get an Ok, but I will defer to Darcy/Katy/Tom.....

The availability of Spaten at the block party, and accompanying description that it was one of Tom's favourites were what triggered a few comments on Facebook and my photos. To my shame, I only had Warsteiner in the fridge when I took the pics, and I didn't want to fill the glasses with the wrong kind of German beer. I rectified that situation yesterday...

Thanks, Katy. This time of year it's usually too blazingly hot to sit out there till after the sun goes down behind the ridge. And from those photos I am reminded that I need to teak oil the table and chairs again.
