    Gifting my Ego

I've decided to gift my Ego to my dad. I haven't been using it since purchasing my Synapse & Imago and hated that it was just sitting in my closet going unused. I sent him pics of it this morning to see if he would be interested in it and he immediately replied yes! I also sent him pics of the different color strips I have and he requested for me to put the cork strip on it before sending it. I can't wait for him to receive it & hear what he thinks about it!
Synapse 25 (Steel Dyneema/UV), Organizer Pouches ( Dyneema, Cordura, Cork - various size & colors), FoJ Pouch, FoT Pouch, 2011 TB Mystery gift(Cork pouch), 2012 Mystery Gift (Forest/ Steel) Pocket Pouch, Sm Yarn Stuff Sack (UV), Small Shop Bag (Steel), Large Shop Bag (UV), Various Color Key Straps, Side Effect (Steel Dyneema/Wasabi)

What a lovely idea: it made me smile just to hear how excited your father is about his new Ego.

How nice! He's going to love it and what a sweet thought.

        Wow. This is so nice!

        - It shows you how durable Tom Bihn products are. They not only hold up in quality, but it also holds up in value, and is welcomed by people even if they've been used already, because it's still a worthy product.
        - It shows how generous you are, that you thought to gift it to your dad. How sweet is that!?!
        - It makes your dad happy because every time he uses the Ego, he will think of you, and what a wonderful, generous, and thoughtful daughter you are!

Make sure you write a little note or card to tuck in there for your dad! He'll get a real kick out of it, I'm sure.

Actually now that I think about it, you should put some stuff in the bag before you ship it off to him. Maybe bake him a tin of cookies or something, even.

My dad received his Ego & he said he had to fight off my stepmom for it...lol

@ Lani I didn't even think about sending cookies. Actually, he's diabetic so I guess its just as well as I didn't. I did think about giving him an organizer pouch, but then couldn't decide which one to give him as I use & love all my pouches. But, I did give him a couple of the black key straps.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who is so attached to her family of organizer pouches that she finds it hard to let go. I did manage to pry one out of my own fingers to give to my son at Christmas (to go along with his Aeronaut and Brain Bag), but I started to worry myself. Gollum-like, I almost started whispering, "My precious-s-s" over and over.

The only way to be able to gift a precious Pouch is to get one in a non favorite color.

It doesn't always work, before receiving my Crimson Large Pouch there was nothing red in my house (negative association) but I decided to overcome and, now I use it as a journal holder.

I just blogged yesterday about my pouch love. I've given a few away in the past. I have been given many. They do make one feel special, and they are ever so useful!
I really, really like TB Bags!
