I bought a new camera this weekend and am having a really hard time finding a case for it. It's not a DSLR and I don't want to carry a long abunch of accessories, so the DSLR cases are way too big. It's not a compact so those little tiny (but cute!) cases are out. It's a superzoom point and shoot, but it's the granddaddy of superzooms (It's a Nikon p510 because I am all about the long lens to get thos candid doggy shots), so none of the current crop of superzoom cases fit.
What I really want is a simple soft, padded bag so I can throw it in my Swift or LCB or Synapse when I'm out and about and it has some protection but is still squishable in a corner. As I sat looking at my nightstand last night, it occurred ot me the perfect solution would be a padded (ultrasuede ?!?!) Travel Tray (or Yarn Stuff Sack). In the meantime I may have to buy some felt or flannel and just make a little drawstring bag.
