I've just returned from two weeks in Canada where I wore my side effect every day and it was almost perfect! What I'd love to see is a slightly larger version that would also accommodate my iPad mini, and then it really would be the perfect mobile waist bag.

I just saw in the 2012 thread Darcy says a waist strapless Side Effect in Black and Aubergine ballistic and Steel and Nordic dyneema is coming in early 2013!! One wish down, one to go!
      DID YOU REALLY!?!?!??!

Oh my google, that totally makes my day.

It would allow ready access to documents without having to remove it from the bag. Something to keep my important business documents and reading together during trips and long flights, stuff I don't want to trust to any checked luggage if I am not one-bagging it. It can be used as a mini-brief when not in the TB carry.

Plastic document boxes scratch the inside of bags. Pouches need to be removed entirely. Freudian Slips only hold a limited number of file folders.
        This is a FANTASTIC idea.

Ditto to everything Moose said. :-)

Since I'm getting my #1 wish this year (the SE without waist straps), I will have to come up with something new to obsess about. I'm used to ending pretty much every forum post with "btw, se-ws, kthxbai" and I won't be able to do that for much longer. (Squeeee!)

I think that's going to be a FJN that is sized for 8.5x11 paper. I try so hard to work with the half-size paper in the FJN, but I'm left-handed and having the rings in the way of a notebook that small is a real hassle. (Don't bother posting about flipping the notebook and writing on the back of the pages or any other little trick to get the rings out of the way. I've tried them all and don't like any of the compromises.) My household organizer is letter-size and I'd love to give it a TB home.

The only feature that I would request is an ultrasuede-lined pocket sized for an iPad Mini or other 7" tablet. I would love that.

Another wish (may we have 2??): I LOVE my two Swifts and am just about to order a third BUT..... I tried to use one as my daily "purse" but it is just too narrow and deep/dark for me (yet AWESOME for carrying handwork projects!!). How about a new purse-like thing: 2-3x wider than the Swift,, "slouchier" than the Swift, easy to see in to the bottom, long handles for shoulder carrying, zippered, very capacious (being slouchy it can be so without being overwhelmingly large all the time- yet can still hold the kitchen when needed), not in Cordura (too hairy all the time) AND with a lightweight, durable, waterproof bottom, please?? That last would be SO welcome for those of us in the north where sopping wet floor mats in vehicles are the norm in the winter (or at least they used to be before global warming)! Might satisfy those needing diaper bags, too??
              Thanks for asking!

@Nli, have you considered a Little Swift as your daily purse? I have a big Swift, too, and I agree; it's too deep and dark for ordinary purposes. But I absolutely adore my Little Swifts as my EDC bags, to the point that I have three of them: Ultrasuede Cacao (discontinued sadly), Azalea, and Aubergine.

Zippered--will give the Swift and Little Swift a completely new dimension of utility as a purse, rather than a tote. I'm all for it!

The little Swift is....too little! I need 15-20 L volume most days (why I am not sure but I do.....). The Scrunchie tote by Timbuk2 is almost my perfect bag and has a waterproof bottom, to boot, but is inherently flawed b/c not Tom Bihn / made in USA. Thanks for the suggestion though!

As long as we're wishing... I would like a larger, hanging toiletry kit. I travel with children, and all their stuff and I need more space. Any chance one of these or something like it is in the works this 2013, Darcy?

The Brain Bag lined in the bright dyneema colors. Makes things easier to see and the dyneema lets stuff slide in and out easy.

                          1) An upsized copilot / down-sized western flyer - basically a travel bad in between the two that will work on the super low cost carrier airlines when I need something a little more professional than a backpack. Bonus points for a cross-strap/single strap carry option.

                          2) A smaller version of the Buzz which will handle an 11" or 13" Macbook Air.

Yes I do have a certain obsession with finding a good cross-strap bag!

Is the idea of Ultrasuede bags pretty much gone forever? If so, I'll stop wistfully asking for them...but I'd love to see more PLOs (Little Swift, Sidekick, Small/Mini Cafe Bags) in Ultrasuede, if possible.

Dyneema Sidekick and Snake Charmer love-child organizer pouch to hook between to O-rings in the Synapse or via Annex clips to SA or BB.

Brain cell or tweaked cache to mount an iPad mini horizontally between to O-rings in the Synapse or via Annex clips to SA or BB.

Sunglasses/eyewear storage pouch for vertical or horizontal mounting.

I would like to really see a downsized Vertical Freudian Slip for the Synapse. Maybe a spot for a couple of pens phone and backside maybe place for papers.
I am thinking of trying to make one myself. But would prefer to buy one from my new favorite store.
