    vertical powerbook bag

I would love to see a vertical bag for the powerbook G4. Ideally I would prefer it with a water resistant zipper and without a top flap. Also it would have additional space for files, a camera, lunc etc and organizatational spaces for phone, iPod etc. . . all of this with your great attention to detail.

Hmmm . . we used to make a vertical format case. But when the G4 15" first came out we mocked-up a prototype in the vertical format and it was just too tall and thin - it might look OK on someone about 6'6" but for the rest of us it seemd just out of proportion. Maybe stand in the mirror and hold your G4 vertically at your side to see what we mean.
If you have any ideas on how to mitigate that effect, let us know!

I still use a Cafe that fit the Lombard and Pismo beautifully, but the Ti and Al 15" stick out a bit.

My girlfriend's Brenthaven Mobility 1 (the best non-bihn bag I have experience with, but only for 12" 'books) has me eagerly awaiting the Eclipse redesign, though. I think the new world of widescreen laptops makes vertical bags a bit unwieldy.

        vertical powerbook bag

As a 6'4" powerbook coveter, I'm all for a vertical powerbook bag ala the Café case. I loved my Café case back when it paired with the powerbook G3.

My current 12" iBook rattles around in it a bit. But maybe soon I'll have a powerbook.

At 6'4" you would be one of a few on whom a vertical bag for a 17" screen laptop wouldn't look ridiculous.
Clearly the evolution of screen size has outstripped the evolution of the human frame.
