    Brain Cell needs Flap extension

First let me say that I love my Super Ego and Horizontal Brain Cell. I've had it for about a month now and find it difficult to leave it at home. Anyway, I have a Dell E1405 with the larger battery (85 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery) which adds about an inch to the height of the laptop, and the Brain Cell is barely able to meet it's velcro mate on the opening flap. I guess I could of gotten a different size??

It would be cool is if there was an extension accessory for the Brain Cells that allows me to fold over the battery.

I can post some pictures if needed.

    Thoughts?

Have you tried adjusting the sling in the Brain Cell so your laptop will sit lower in the bag? If not, here's how you do it: pull out the soft foam padding from the inside of the Brain Cell. You'll see that the two sides of the foam are joined together at the bottom via Aplix (like Velcro). If you adjust the sling so that it hangs lower, your laptop will hang lower, and you might be able to close the top more easily. You don't want the sling to hang so low that it touches the bottom of the bag. You want for there to be space between the bottom of the sling and the bottom of the bag so you still have the protection of a suspension system.

If that doesn't work, you could try the next size up of Brain Cell. What size do you currently have?

Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

Very Nice. That did the trick. It's great when you buy something and it's actually worth the money you pay for it.

Glad it worked. That's a pretty simple fix that a lot of people don't know about. I should add it to the Brain Cell F.A.Q.
