The Eclipse basically is the Brain Cell, but with more pockets and the look of a micro-briefcase. So, yes, it does offer the same protection.

You should be able to fit all of the accessories you mentioned inside the Eclipse.

The Brain Cell is the best protection you can get for your laptop short of a steel case, but it's not a 100% gaurantee that nothing will happen to your laptop. So, if you put the Brain Cell in a bag with a lot of hard objects, or put a heavy object on top of the Brain Cell, the laptop protection could become compromised. Then again, many of our customers are students who carry their laptop in a Brain Cell with all of their books and other items, and have no problem. Basically, a Brain Cell paired with a little common sense goes a long way.

im wondering exactly how the eclipse compares to the brain cell. does the laptop compartment in the ecliplse offer the exact same qaulity of protection as the brain cell?

how much room is there in the eclipse for other things? ideally, id like a case that can hold the ac adapter, network cable, 4x6 wacom tablet, digital elph, and a magazine or notepad.

also, is there any room in the brain cell for things other than the laptop?...maybe just an ac adater or just the wacom tablet

and finally, does putting the brain cell in any plain old messenger bag put the laptop in any greater risk of damage (such as things banging around in the bag agaisnt the brain cell, etc...
