I've been using SG for the Shadow Guide but see that it isn't listed here.

Thank you, I couldn't figure it out and it was driving me crazy. We need an updated acronym guide for all the new releases in the last year and a half. Though I realize DOPs have been around longer than that.

Someone else actually came up with the Doggienaut term, but it's all I call the Road Duffles now.

D36 for Doggienaut 36 (aka road Duffle 36)
D60 for Doggienaut 60 (aka road Duffle 60)

I do NOT like the acronym for Burnt Orange. Where I come from, BO is short for body odor. So each time I read BO on the threads in this forum, I find myself holding my breath!

    PU - Parental Unit

This is actually a brilliant acronym when you think about it... Americans say "P U" or "Pee Yoo!" when reacting to something that smells bad... like a soiled diaper.

Ok, I'm removing my fingers from the keyboard now...

Maybe my brain is getting old! Or perhaps I'm just old fashioned. But I still translate acronyms into their actual words when I come across them. It's like when you know another language, but not at an intimate level - and when you read something written in that language, you internally translate it into the language you are most comfortable.

Added Acronyms and links associated with the new product announcements (Aeronaut 30 [A30/45], Daylight Backpack [DLBP], Night Flyer Travel Duffel [NFTD], and Travel Laundry Stuff Sack [TLSS]), since forum members have already started using these terms in their posts. Note that I've placed these under the "Recent" category, so these may need to be moved later.

@Badger Yes, and there's a whole thread over at Ravelry titled TBAS - Tom Bihn Acquisition Syndrome. Historically, I think the forum thread with "Anticipation" may have started first, and given rise to the acronym, but subsequent usage had a lot of people inferring that the "A" in the "syndrome" stood for "Acquisition" as the natural term.

I'll look at those links but you are correct that some of them no longer apply or are not in very wide circulation.
