    Impressed so far...

    I ordered a new Ego/Brain cell combination yesterday. Of course being an idiot I forgot to put the Brain cell in the online order, so I called the customer hotline in a panic. I was a little apprehensive when I got put through to voice mail, but I left my details. I was called back within 1/2 hour by a charming lady who talked me through exactly what I needed!

    Hopefully (I'm sure) the bag will be as good as the customer service!

      You'll be surprised to see that the quality of the bag *exceeds* the quality of the customer sevice.

        Good! I sure hope so...

        Sadly I'm a cheapskate and only shelled out for ground shipping so I wont get it until monday. Can't wait!

          Customer Service, quality control and the bags are a dream at Tom Bihn.

          Plus, it is made in America and they use UPS so you can follow the travels of you bag before you get it.

          Also the Tom Bihn team is atuned to it's customers' needs.

          I also forgot some things with one of my orders and ended up ordering more stuff on the makeup order, everything arrived great. I was delighted.

          I contacted Darcy via email and her responsiveness is as top notch on email as it is via phone.

          Devotees like me are for ever on the forum asking Tom to design everything but the kitchen sink for our stuff.

                  It's arrived!!!

                  It was waiting for me when I got home yesterday!

                  First impression - wow! I now really 'get' what people were talking about when they say high quality. This bag looks like it could take some serious hammering and laugh it off!

                  Second impression - is it actually big enough? Should I have got the Super Ego. I have a huge amount of stuff I need to carry around and I'm not sure it'll go in!

                  Third impression - where did all my stuff go? This this is deceptively *huge*! Everything goes in - in fact it feels like there is a pocket designed for everything I want to carry.

                  I got the Q-AM strap (I don't like stretchy straps so it sounded like the one for me) and it's really comfortable. I'll write more thoughts down when I've used it for a while!

                    Thanks for the props! I couldn't do it without my crew of amazing cutters, seamstresses, shippers and customer service people.

                      I've only carried it around a couple of days, but it's pretty good. V. easy to adjust.

                      If I'm being slightly critical - I'm 6'6" and the whole thing does quite extend long enough for me if I want it to sit low down my back - this is not a unique problem by any stretch of the imagination though!

                      Very comfortable however, and I carry a *lot* of weight in my bag!
