How much Tom Bihn stuff do you carry each day?

As I was coming into the office this morning with my 3 (yes, 3! I have issues) bags, it occurred to me that not only were all my bags from Tom Bihn, but they are also full of other TB goodies (or TB pretties as a friend of mine calls them). And then I wondered just how much TB stuff I carry on a daily basis. So I made a list and thought I'd share with y'all and ask how much others have in their bags.

    Bag #1: SCB as PLO
    1 small clear OP
    1 small DOP
    1 mini clear OP
    1 micro fabric OP
    1 COW
    2 Q-kits
    3 key straps (1 16" and 2 8")

    Bag #2: Synapse 19
1 cache for 11" MB Air
    3 TSS (2 size 1 and 1 size 3)
    1 fabric 3DOC
    1 mesh 3DOC
    1 key strap (8")
    1 medium fabric OP
    1 SSB
    1 YSS (tall)

Bag #3: PU as gym bag
    3 TSS (sizes 2, 3 & 4)
    1 mesh 3DOC
    1 Q-kit
    1 key strap (8")

That is indeed a lot of TB goodness -- I was actually a bit surprised to see just how thoroughly TB stuff has taken over my life. It's good as I am way more organized now, but it's definitely a lot of stuff!

Okay lets do this, but I am not sure if it helps with my reputation... crazy-bag-lady is whispering through the house while I write this:

#1 Pilot as Laptop bag containing:
    - Padded Organizer Pouches with my external Hard Drive for backups
    - Coyote Organizer Pouches in nano for my USB stick. Thous two are teetered together and attached via a Keystrap to the Pilot
    - Side Effect as Pencilcase
    - 3D Mesh Organizer Cube for the cables
    - Cache 6Z with the Laptop

    #2 Synapse 19
    - Travel Stuff Sack size 1 with First Aid kit
    - Travel Stuff Sack size 1 with cables for car-charging phone and mp3-Player
    - Vertical Freudian Slip
    - Double Organizer Pouch for Money and Debit-cart
    - Double Organizer Pouch for healthensurence-cards (me and three children) and documents
    - Knitting Tool Pouch size 1 with tweezer, small scissors, extra plaster
    - Knitting Tool Pouch size 1 with odds and ends
    - 3D Fabric Organizer Cube with all my girly-stuff
    - Clear Organizer Wallet with credit-card and emergency-money
    - Pocket Pouch with small trash bags just in case... (three children again)

    #3 Side Effect
    - Pocket Pouch for my keys so that they do not jingle around
    - Organizer Pouches size micro in wonderfull parapack for small change (for public toilets etc.)

#2 gets changed for a Parental Unit, Synapse 25, Smart Alec
#3 gets changed for a little Swift, Small Cafe Bag or sometimes a Co-Pilot
#1 stays mostly the same. This is my work-bag and I do not mess around with that one so much. I did use the Smart Alec for this and it works fine but I like the briefcase-sty for work. It just feels more office-like.

    So there you have it.
I think "One-bagging-it" on a daily bases is not for me. Not because I could not size down but because I love to use the bags and I love how it stays all organized and grouped together.

    Ilkyway

forgot the Q-Kid of course: it houses my car-keys and lives in bag #2

Abby you are so right about this! I will not be able to do so today but I'll try to squeeze it in tomorrow.

Since I'm a terrible photographer, I'll leave the photos to others. Most of my TB items are accessories and I carry them everyday. My EDC set up is an olive/steel Brain Bag with a black/UV Side Effect.

          In the Brain Bag:
1 steel Clear Quarter Packing Cube
1 mini red Cordura Organizer Pouch inside the CQPC
1 mini wasabi (?) COP for change
1 8-inch black key chain attached wasabi COP
1 small olive Double Organizer Pouch
1 14-inch black Utility Strap attached to DOP
1 large cocoa Clear Organizer Pouch
          1 olive Snake Charmer
          1 small wasabi Shop Bag
1 No. 2 wasabi Travel Stuff Sack

In Side Effect (which I carry in the Brain Bag):
1 ½-inch webbing shoulder strap to carry the SE
          1 wasabi Clear Organizer Wallet
          1 black Q-kit
          1 wasabi COP
1 8-inch solar key strap attached to Q-kit
1 8-inch black key strap attached to wasabi COP

And I just ordered a small COP and a No. 1 TSS to further organize my EDC set up.

ETA: Almost forgot! I have my forum gift attached to the top grab handle

So, I admit that my regular outer EDC is currently NOT TB. BUT, it is filled with TB:
              In my tote, I carry:
              1. SE in aubergine/UV with a COW in aubergine, and a mini OP in iberian dyneema with wallet overflow/less used cards, and a micro pouch that was the gift the end of 2013 with coins in it.
              2. Medium COP in iberian with receipts/grocery lists/reminder notes from kids' schools/etc
              3. Steel Pen/Pencil case with pens and pencils.
              4. Keystrap in plum holding an aubergine Q-kit with hand sanitizer bottle at the ready. In summer, there is a second Q-kit in forest with small containers of sunscreen.
              5. Keystrap in steel dyneema holding the Medium COP and pen/pencil case above.

Some days I will also carry along with EDC tote:
              1. LS in aubergine to hold extra pens/sketchbooks if going to be stuck in the car in line to pick up kids, or if going out for the day and want to have sketching goodies along, but may not carry into each destination, and want to keep it all corralled in the car.
              2. Often I add a SE into the LS with extra pens if needed.

For larger load days, the EDC is all moved to my S25, and I add:
              1. PCSB as needed to corral kid bits/etc added to the load.
              2. Stuff sack in the water bottle to avoid any drips--size 3.
              3. Small OP with iPods if taking them along to entertain the small humans.
              4. +/- 16" keystrap for keys if desired.

Can't wait to see pics from all! I will try to get some done tomorrow.

Inside is my Kindle Paperwhite, iPhone, keys, and tiny Chico shopping bag.
As for other Tom Bihn bags that I have inside the Co-Pilot:

Q-kit with my Four Sevens Atom flashlight. I LOVE this flashlight.

Stuff sack with Mophie battery, the cord and the iPhone lightning cable. Just in case. I almost never have to use this, since I keep another charging cord at work.

Pocket pouch with work ID and Charlie Card (train pass). The RFID chip of the Charlie Card works through the fabric of the bag, so I can keep it attached to my bag as I walk.

If I am going to lunch or something I can just take the Side Effect and leave everything else - my phone fits inside it.

On days when I need to take more items I'll bring the Pilot. In warm weather, if I am bicycling, it is a backpack. (Or I slip the CoPilot or Pilot inside the Daylight backpack). And on gym days I bring a duffel as well.

Compared to you all, my list is so short! But in my defense, I work from home, so don't need to go out for long stretches of time.

                    1. Little Swift (today's color is Coyote)
                    2. Turquoise COW
                    3. 8" Wasabi Keystrap with o-ring
                    4. Forest DOP, Medium (for my iPhone)
                    5. 8" Iberian Keystrap with o-ring
                    6. 16" Steel Keystrap (for keys!)
                    7. TB Ruler
                    8. Small Shop Bag(s) - Iberian and/or Steel. Because you never know.

@bchaplin, Just wanted to send another "Thank you" for your Jackery products on sale at Amazon thread last month. Because of that, a Jackery Bar is now part of my EDC. However, in that thread, in response to @ClaireJ's question about storing this in a Q-Kit, you replied:

I just wanted to point out that the current model Jackery Bar with 6000 mAh capacity fits nicely into the Q-Kit, and that's how I'm carrying it (with a Swiss Army Knife on top, and with room for cables). Here are some pictures:

The Jackery Bar is actually sitting inside a Coyote Q-Kit (since I checked it with every Q-Kit that I had for fit), but I had these pictures handy. I'd also like to thank @imagineez and @Rae for their comments on the Anker external battery and its discount code, since I found this to be a lighter weight alternative to the Jackery Giant, and with a higher power rating. Like @fraserspeirs (in his How I Pack my Synapse 25 for School video), I keep the Anker 16000 mAh battery in one of my Synapse 25 side pockets when I carry it. (The 2nd gen E5 is a recent update compared to his [I think] Anker 2nd generation Astro E4 13000 mAh).

I like both of these, and the Jackery Bar in particular is a very comfortable weight/size/shape. (BTW, the Kiwi Q-Kit is holding my keys and a FourSevens Quark MiNi CR123 light).

It just means that everyone has another option for a way to carry their Jackery bars, if they want to re-purpose their size #1 Travel Stuff Sacks. Or maybe Q-Kit owners will be prompted to get yet another one of these useful accessories. I'll bet most people who were interested in this already had a Q-Kit to try.

I have the mini Jackery bar and carry it in a small OP - that way I can orient the power button so that it doesn't easily get pressed when jostled about in my bag.
