These days, my business EDC is my Nordic/steel Co-Pilot or black dyneema/wasabi Pilot. I do not carry a lot, so I prefer the CP. But when I need to carry folders, notebook or yellow pad, I switch to the Pilot. I have 3 Little Swifts (cacao ultrasuede, cork and black dyneema/iberian) that I rotate throughout the year also.

Set up below is for the CP/Pilot, but I carry same TB pouches when I change to another bag.

    * Front pocket with pen slots - pens, lip balm, if using the Pilot, I use the large pocket in this compartment to hold business cards I collect at business events. Clipped to the O-ring in this pocket are a 16" cayenne key strap with house and office keys and a utility strap with zip drive, TB whistle, store discount cards. I clip my car key to the same O-ring.

    * Main compartment - clipped to one of the O-rings is my mini OP (the TB gift) with my earphones and my original TB guardian light. Clipped to the other O-ring is my cacao ultrasuede COW with my business cards and my business name plate (to use atboff site meetings). Free standing in this compartment is a medium COP in iberian which contains personal papers (prescriptions, medical appointments, etc.)

SE in olive parapack/UV - cardinal COW (my card wallet) and double OP (my lunch cash wallet - bills in the back, coins in the front). Clipped to an o-ring is a 16" keystrap in UV with a second set of house keys. I put my SE in the main compartment of my business bag.

I usually bring my lunch, but on the rare occasion that I take a lunch break, I justvtake the SE with me.

Three times a week, I go to pilates or yoga after work. I use a shop bag (large or small, I have several) to carry my yoga towel and yoga clothes in a TSS #4. I leave my business bag in the car trunk, take the SE with me.

Once a week after work, I go to dragon boat paddling practice. I use my Aeronaut 45 PCBP to tote my dragon boat paddling gear. In its main compartment - PFD, paddling clothes in a TSS #4 and a 32-oz bottle of water. In its bottom pocket - shoes, prescription goggles, gloves, and headband, cap, hat or combination thereof. My team jacket lives in a TSS #3. If the weather calls for it, I put it in the main compartment.

On Saturdays, I use a large shop bag to carry my gear to dragon boat practice. During races, I use the Aeronaut 45 PCBP.

This is my new favorite thread - it's great to see all the packing ideas. I am really curious about the S19 as a hands-free way of carrying the stuff that normally goes in my Pilot. I generally avoid backpacks except for my A30, but I think it would help me in my travel and possibly also my daily work carry.

Your ID cards are really small to fit in those pouches! I'm impressed!

I actually use size 1 TSS's in those pockets. But I just tried a size 2 (with my microfiber gym towel in it) and it fit. It was tight, but it fit.

The Copilot has been my bag of choice lately. It's so squishy and light and friendly. It's my first bag with the new zippers, aside from Side Effects (navy and black) and I love the noise the zipper pulls make.

I carry a small shop bag in it, to make up for the fact that it's not a backpack. I'll take a picture tomorrow of my Synapse 25, which is my most used backpack.

The Q kits carry a Swiss Army Knife in one, and earbuds and a microfiber cloth in the other. They're navy and forest. I have a kiwi one, not pictured.

The wallet is forest, tethered to a 16" o-ring/snap hook key strap. I will miss forest a lot. It's my spirit green.

The Nordic Aeronaut PCBP is just pictured to make people jealous. I just got it in a swap and love it already. I took it to class yesterday.

The little swift has been my EDC most of the time.
The SE hold my wallet, folding wayfarers and regular glasses.
The SYSS hold my sock knitting.
The 3DCOC hold small panda shaped shears, hand wipes and shout wipes, makeup, folding brush, Advil, small first aid kit, tweezers, and a nailpolish remover wipe. I love that I can see what I have and what needs to be restocked quickly.
In the pockets of the LS: one tilt a whorl supported spindle, one note book and my handy TB ruler

Haha, I saw that as I took the picture, and was wondering if anyone would notice!

Thank you so much for the very helpful feedback on the FS!! I can always picture things so clearly when you describe them. Hmm, decisions, decisions...

haraya: I love how your nail-polish matches the interior of your S19 and it looks so good in contrast to the exterior!

As for the Freudian Slip: I like it so much. Without it everything in the main compartment tents to play hide and seek at the bottom of the pack. This way the load is much better distributed over the hole bag. I can find everything without looking as everything has its dedicated space. But you have to bear in mind, that it takes up space. For me the Synapse 19 is more about many small or flat items so I can afford to lose space to gain organization.
As for the iPad mini: I do not have one of thous. How ever: in the paper slots it would fit without a doubt.

    Okay, here we go.

The first (sideways) picture is of my Cocoa S25, which I carry around most days. I work at home, so no work gear here. Three keystraps, which have my keys (duh) a flashlight (purple O-light) and a mini COP with my bus pass and change. I love this setup because it lets me beep my bus pass without having to take it out, and on buses when I get a ticket I might have to show an inspector later, I stick it right inside and know I won't lose it. (Those of you familiar with the "honor system/inspector" system of public transit know the horror of seeing an inspector and not knowing where you shoved that tiny scrap of paper...) Anyway. Bottom pocket has a Hadaki cosmetics pod with diapers etc for my little ones; I usually leave that open inside the zippered-closed pocket so I can grab necessities as needed.

Why do I carry such a big bag for so little stuff? Because this is the bag I take to drop kids off at school in the morning. Then I stop at the grocery store and walk back home with whatever I need in here. I especially like the S25 for this because of the sternum strap; even with the baby in the front carrier, it rides nicely and is comfortable.

Second picture is of my Pilot, which is my work bag. I LOVE this bag. If Tom himself had sat down late into the night, scratching his head and trying to design the perfect bag for the telecommuting speechwriter, he would have come up with this. I take it with me to events and on trips to the office (usually about a week at a time, international travel).

Center: Pilot (black Dyneema/Wasabi) with my laptop in a neoprene case. To the right is a COP with chargers/thumb drive; I usually have another one in there with my 220/110 plug adaptors, but I'm home now. Next to that is another COP with business cards and building ID, needed every time I get on an elevator. At the bottom is a SE, which contains my wallet in the center, my phone, and in the outside pocket, passports. (I've had up to 7 in there at once. They fit.) The SE and my iPad go in the two bellows pockets in the main compartment of the Pilot. Purple organizer pouch with computer charger goes in one of the outside pockets, along with Kindle. Other outside pocket has the small organizer pouches, my glasses in a hard case, pens etc in it. The center pocket usually has either a water bottle, bottle of Diet Coke, or a small stuff sack with knitting in it. The whole thing rides on an Absolute strap, and gets compliments on a daily basis. Have I mentioned how much I love this bag?

Lovely photos, Ilkyway! And I do love your Indigo pack. <3 How do you like your Freudian Slip? I've been debating getting one for my S19. Would it hold an iPad mini, do you think? Mainly I want the FS for holding papers occasionally - I don't carry papers very often but when I do, it's nice not to fold or wrinkle the sheets. I don't need the FS pockets as much. Wondering if it makes the bag very rigid.
