That's a tough one! Many of the questions are about stories I skipped or just briefly looked at.
BTW, BBC has introduced a great U.S.-targeted tv news program: BBC World News America.Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

I listen to BBC World Service and BBC Radio 4 on
the internet. I find when foreign countries generate
programing targeting American audiences they tend
to "pander" to our tastes, attitudes, and culture.
About 10 years ago, I wrote a short article accusing
Radio Netherlands of pandering to American audiences
and caught all sorts of negative flack from the
Netherlands.
Today, I also enjoy listening to Radio New Zealand
International, Radio Australia, CBC, and Radio Japan
(NHK) -- all on the internet.
May be I'll post some links.
BTW, if you miss a story on NPR or just want to hear the
story again, go to http://www.npr.org to listen to
the story at your own convenience. I do this often.Last edited by PM4HIRE; 12-09-2007, 03:41 PM.Tom Welch > Mesa, Arizona, USA

I haven't found the BBC America TV news to be pandering. From the bits I've seen it's a nice rundown on world news events of the day.
I like listening BBC World Service, too, but it's frustrating because I can't find a way to stream it through iTunes which would in turn stream it through Airport and, finally, through my speakers. There are BBC podcasts I can stream through iTunes -- but not live World Service. Or maybe there's a way to make Real Player stream through Airport. I don't know if you use iTunes or Airport, but if you do, any tips?
Radio Netherlands does stream through iTunes so I end up listening to it every now and then.
Somtimes I like listening to Charlie Rose shows while I work. They're not as noisy as a lot of radio shows.
Links would be good!Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

Darcy:
Since you enjoy the BBC and Radio Netherlands, you'll probably
like listening to World Radio Network, click http://www.wrn.org/
to listen.
Charlie Rose and Terri Gross Fresh Air on NPR are my favorite
interview programs. I watched Charlie Rose interview Willie
Nelson and Kris Kristofferson on YouTube the other day.Tom Welch > Mesa, Arizona, USA
