When I first started looking for new work and travel bags back in 2013, I was leaning toward another American made product, until I started reading the Tom Bihn forum threads. It felt like friends. So ... here I am.

However, over the years, I realized I love the fact that I know who makes my bags. I can see all their happy faces in the About Us link. That's so incredibly neat. I dig it, man.

    ^ What an adorable doggo

I first bought Tom Bihn upon having a friend recommend it. It turned out to be a great purchase, and really felt that it was worth my money for the quality and functionality. That eventually led to a few more purchases, and I have been passing on recommendations ever since.

I forgot to say: because they are dog people. (Also cats, but I am allergic to cats so I am only familiar with the canines.)

(You can barely see it under all that fur, but Loki has a purple TB leash in the picture!)

Wallet number 4 is the prime reason.

How many companies release something, then within hours of hearing feedback from people who haven’t even got their new items they go and make a new product and release that aswell.

That is love of what they do, that is commitment to customers, that is truly doing great work.

GREAT customer service and a made in the USA product gives them the edge over any company I’ve ever done business with. I’ve emailed a few times to have an ordered change and not once have a heard “we will see what we can do.”They just do it and seem happy to help.

This kind of recognition matters to us (the crew has been reading these posts today.) It also helps us understand what it is we do that matters to all of you -- so, we know what to keep doing.

I think there is also a responsibility that this kind of recognition brings up. Taking it in can be the impetus that helps us ask ourselves if we can offer even better service, be even more open to really hearing feedback, and share more about our process of finding and testing new fabrics (we're happy to be amongst fellow fabric nerds here!)

    So, thanks

I had an epiphany after a pre order window closed, and Kat helped me right that wrong, once all the orders were filled. Good luck getting that kind of thoughtful customer service with "big backpack"....

Tom Bihn feels like an integrated company...a company of balance. Clean design/functionally funky ; dedication to customer/ dedication to employee; polite and helpful / honest and principled ; professional / approachable and authentic.... all of this with unquestionable quality of product.

    Greetings,
There are many reasons I love the Tom Bihn company and products. Here are a few.

    6. Evil hinting.
    5. It's a great company with fabulous people.
    4. O-rings, key straps, and more o-rings.
    3. Exceptional and superior products.
    2. Outstandingly phenomenal customer service!
    1. The TARDIS Effect built into every bag.

And I am grateful every time I use my Tom Bihn bags! elisa

sure their customer service and products are d** great!

but what I actually really love in TB is their love of fabrics... yes I'm a nerd (and proud to be)

... and the unisex design not too girly but girly enough not too manly but manly enough, sounds paradoxal doesn't it

Initially I was drawn in by the thoughtful design. I love the design sense, the color, the classic styles, the commitment to durability and practicality. Then I got to know the folks on the forums. And the more time I spend here, the more I'm impressed by the ethos, the transparency, and the principles of the company. It rubs off - I think it's not accidental that conversations on the boards are for the most part self-regulating and kind. So when I wear my TB bags, I like to think I'm an ambassador for a certain type of interaction. #teambihn #thegoingisgood
