Sadly, my EDC bag is not TB, but here are the contents of what is in it. I think most of this is self explanatory. Across the top, computer (with power brick), 2 notebooks and lunch material. Bottom left is a windbreaker and ballcap. A 2 plug USB plower adapter and some mini USB adapters follow long with my iPod. 500 GB hard drive in case (so I only have to carry one computer) Speaker headphones (bluetooth and I had a falling out) and spare batteries. On the black cloth are business cards, ethernet cable and a CAC reader. Please note the TB key strap. MyFi and simple office supplies round it out.
Welcome!

I really like these systems. I can give an informal presentation and if someone wants to see better I can pull the page out for them and then put it back.

Any chance of incorporating this paper management system into the field notebook?

This forum has sparked me to put together a pouch of useful essentials - this is not everything I carry daily, but it can go into other bags. In addition I carry at least my wallet, keys, iPhone, and foldable shopping bag as my daily minimum - for work I add a laptop, corporate cell, food, mouse, remote access keyfob, umbrella, and whatever else has crept into my pack.
In a small clear organizer pouch I have: Tool Logic card with knife, screwdriver, magnifying glass, compass, tweezers, etc; pen (the red thing - it's from Lamy); two ponytail bands, lipbalm with SPF, safety pin; flashlight (red); eyeglass screwdriver; Immodium and tampon.
I really like the Tool Logic card, because the knife is formidable for being in such a small space. I only wear glasses to drive, these days, but the eyeglass screwdriver (flat and phillips) is also small enough to be good for poking holes in things. The ponytail bands are not only good for hair but wherever things need to be banded together. I suppose in an emergency the tampon could be used to pack a wound, though I hope never to need it for that reason! Incidentally it all fits nicely into the back pocket of a Side Effect.
I'd like to add a Tylenol, once I find one in individual bubble pack, and to downsize the pen (can't find my skinnier one, but it might be tool long anyway; I killed my Space Pen by putting it in the washer. Oops) and to replace the giveaway flashlight (the house-shaped thing) with a better one, where by better I mean still tiny but brighter and with a switch that stays on. And while I had it all out I replaced the lip balm with a non-tinted one in a tiny flat tin. Any other suggestions?

Dichroic, nice kit!
You may be able to get replacement ink cartridges for your space pen on Amazon.
In my photo above, above the red flashlight is a clip on led light that would go great in your kit. They are available at camping stores. Look for one that stays on (they do cost a little more), they usually will have a bright, dim and strobe function, and you can replace the battery on these.
The tool logic is a very useful tool, unfortunately I lost mine to TSA a few years ago.
