+1 for Evernote, although I do my initial plans in a paper notebook since I can write faster than I can type (and maybe faster than I can think). I can tag each packing list with where I went, the season and/or climate, or even the type of trip or method of transport if I was so inclined—which I haven't been so far. Like nukediver, I keep copies of my reservations, contact numbers, and occasionally maps in Evernote as well.

Packing list app

For me, the most useful app for packing lists is Google Docs
I create a spreadsheet for that trip, with columns indicating: clothing, equipment, etc. And it can be accessed with my computer or smartphone.
Also, the android Google Docs app has the option of keeping a copy of the document offline, so I can access it whenever I want!
And I sync important documents (like electronic tickets) in my Google Drive account, so they're always with me too.Last edited by helder_jb; 02-02-2016, 08:22 AM.
