If I had it to do over again, I'd swap out my main shoes for something a little stiffer and narrower. The boots are cute, but too wide for my super narrow feet. Walking on uneven cobblestones made my feet slide sideways which led to foot pain.

I had the same experience. I got some super cute second had ankle boots by Born. They look similar to the ones in your picture, and they match just about every article of clothing I own. Really nice quality boots, and the correct size, but I found I couldn't walk more than a mile in them because my feet moved around inside them due to the style. I bought them to replace lace-up boots that were ancient and worn out, so I guess I need to go back to a lace-up style.

Great packing list!

I am currently in Sweden at the top of Lake Vänern, spring is *just* starting here, with frost in the mornings usually, and while Vilnius is further south, as is Copenhagen, Talinn I think is a little colder than we are. So I think *I* would add long underwear or a down vest in case there's a cold snap, especially since you're just packing a trench (although good on you for gloves/hat).

Writing this from the plane on the way home. Overall, the capsule worked well, and the empty end pocket is now fully stuffed with souvenirs. [emoji846]

I'd also swap one sweater for an extra t-shirt. I ended up packing 2 cardigans and 1 pullover, but I could have done fine with one cardigan. I ended up buying one tee for layering purposes, because my cashmere pullover was just too warm most of the time. Except in Tallinn, where I was very glad I'd brought it, a scarf, and gloves!!

ETA: No staff for any flight weighed or sized or even really looked twice at my A30. Paying for the extra weight on AirBaltic was totally not necessary--oh, well!

The other thing I wanted to say was both flights on AirBaltic, and my outbound flights on Icelandair were great. I was expecting a much lower level of service, especially on AirBaltic, than what I received: my pre-ordered meals were great and having them delivered at the beginning of service was super nice. Homebound on Icelandair they messed up my seating and also didn't have my pre-ordered meal. Not the end of the world, frankly, and I did a lot better than the poor people flying WOW at the moment.

I almost forgot, even if a bag has almost the same liter capacity as a Tom Bihn Bag, it will not offer the ease of organization, roominess and durability as a Tom Bihn Bag.

I believe that if one is not plus size, an S25 can be used with great results.

As a plus size woman, I used the Cordura Brain Bag for U.S domestic travel from 2006 until 2012.

At that time, I acquired an A45 and Tri Star in Halcyon for European travel, in conjunction with the S19.

I now use either the A45 or the Tri-Star in Halcyon with the S19 for domestic travel.

On my last trip, I used the Original Large Shop Bag. It wasn't a great idea because I overstuffed it and was always afraid the content would spill when it was placed under the seat. Carrying it, like a handbag, in security lines was not good, at all.

Instead, bring an Halcyon Zippered Large or Small Shop Bag to shop at the numerous farmers' markets which are now, not only in Europe, but all over.

I just found out that Air Baltic lets you pay for 4kg extra cabin luggage, 12kg up from 8kg (I swear it was 7kg when I booked, though).

Not that I plan on taking 26lbs worth of luggage, but that extra leeway makes me so much more relaxed about my packing list. It also means I will probably put the framesheet back into my S25 for the trip.

OK, this is only tangentially related to the thread, but I wanted to share.

My sister borrowed my A30, and I am heading to BOS to visit my best friend, so I was deciding which bag to take instead. I got a new NorthFace hiking backpack recently that says it's 30L, so I thought, great, I will use that.

Well, I filled it with basically the exact packing list above, and it's more full than my S25!

Just your periodic reminder of the TARDIS nature of TB bags.

here you go!

Left hand side is the jeans, T, sweater, scarf and boots I'll be wearing on the plane.

The rest will be packed... didn't include socks and undies, as I don't think that's relevant LOL.

P.S. The lighting in my bedroom is terrible, so I'll say the sweater I'll be wearing is a dark olive and the one next to it is nowhere near as orangey as it looks--much more a true camel brown.

P.P.S. Just realized everything but the scarf, shoes, and long sleeved top is Uniqlo. [emoji848]
