    Small Cafe Bag

In this thread, post a list or pictures of What You Carry in your Small Cafe Bag. We will add your packing list to the Small Cafe Bag page to help give other people a better idea of what the bag can hold.
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

Current carry: testing new potential materials in the form of Original Large Shop Bags.

      8.9" laptop in neoprene sleeve
Chargers, mouse etc to go with laptop
      Large wallet
      Folding umbrella

And there is still plenty of room to spare. No-one can believe that I keep a laptop in there until I pull it out.

          Navy/Wasabi Small Cafe Bag

          In the front pocket:
          • FOT Pouch with Burt's Bees lip balm, a set of earbuds, and my work badge.
          • A pack of Orbit Mist in peppermint

          In the main compartment:
          • A book (or two!) of the day.
          • Small Moleskine Notebook (in the side pouch)
          • My iPhone (also in the side pouch)
          • A Cross pen
          • A black Sharpie
          • A CRKT folding knife (clipped to a pen slot)
          • Clear Organizer Wallet in Olive clipped to my keys clipped to a Crimson Key Strap
          • My iPhone/iPod charger

          In the back:
          • Various notes. That's all.

It's smaller than my Ristretto for iPad/Netbooks, and that's a good thing; it's great for everyday carrying, and is just the perfect size. Win.

            Mrs Badger's *new!* Azalea/Sapphire SCB

Currently, Mrs B uses a Navy/Cayenne SCB as her EDC. Now she has a lovely new pink SCB, as well.

In her SCB, Mrs B carries:
            • The organizer wallet with cash, cards, and ID
            • A LeSportsac makeup bag (tiny) with sunscreen, lip balm, hand sanitizer, and a hair band
            • Gum and mints
            • Car/house keys (not usually on a strap but in the zip pocket)
            • Pens. A million pens.
            • Poo bags for when she walks the dogs
            • Now that it's winter, a hat and gloves
            • Robert Marc sunglasses in case
            • Hairbrush
            • iPhone in pink Incipio case

The quantity of pens is frightening, as is the number of gum wrappers and other detritus. However, Mrs B is very lucky in that I not only buy her new bags on a regular basis, I also clean them out for her, reorganize her wallet (all bills facing the same way!) and make sure all her pens have ink in them. In return, she picks up the lion's share of the corgi poo.

It's great that you make sure she has ink in her pens, but do you clean her nibs for her? That would be true dedication!
A clean pen is a happy pen.

Wow! MrsB is very lucky indeed. Have you ever considered starting a bag-cleaning wallet-reorganizing service?

If the whole university gig doesn't work out (which, as I look at the huge mess that constitutes higher learning, is possible right across the board), I think organizing would be my new profession. The other day my boss said, "You're kind of a germaphobe, aren't you?"--and that's not actually accurate; my phobia about stickiness is much worse. Ick. Stickiness.

Birdfeeder, Mrs B uses normal disposable pens. I should have been more specific about that. Rather, my job is to make sure her Uni-ball pens are all fresh. I, on the other hand, would love to start collecting fountain pens, but somehow I think that would be disallowed, since all of the things I like tend to be really expensive.
