Here are some photos of my new Synapse 25 and contents, along with the weight. (Excuse the poor lighting.)

    Welcome to the Forums @jmn!

It's great that the Synapse 25 seems to be the ideal bag for you. Be sure to take some photos whilst you're gone and post them here on the 'where did your TB bag go lately' thread so we can vicariously live your trip
    :)

Just joined the Tom Bihn family!

After lurking around here for the past few weeks while researching bags for an upcoming trip to Europe, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a Synapse 25 in black halcyon with the wasabi interior. It just came today and I’m thrilled.

I will be spending 10 days in Sweden and the Netherlands and wanted to travel with just one bag that would fit under the airline seat in front of me. I researched a number of bags that looked great, but were either too heavy or looked like luggage or were too expensive, etc. The Synapse 25 seemed to meet all of my needs and wants at a reasonable price, given the quality, warranty, and the fact that it’s made in the U.S.

I just packed it with everything I think I’ll be bringing and it all fit with room to spare. And the best part for me is that it all weighs only 10 lbs.!

I love that the bag will work for air travel and then can be used while exploring in Europe. It carries comfortably on my back and looks great to me. I really am thrilled.

Thank you to all who post here. Your discussions, questions, and photos were so helpful.

    Jon
