virgin america's requirements for carry-on luggage are that it must be sized no larger than 24" x 16" x 10".

    the tri-star complies with this requirement with dimensions of 19" x 13" x 8".

the tri-star fits nicely in the overhead compartment of an airbus a319 or under the seat in front of you.

Great photos. Good to know it fits most everywhere. Mine arrives tomorrow and will be going off to Nebraska on small regional jets next week! We'll see how well it fits on those.

Did the bag stay at it's advertised 8" width or did it get wider when you packed it?

Thanks, Maverick! Your pictures made it both easier and harder to wait until mine gets delivered on Friday and now I am really itching to start practice packing. Can you summarize what you had in each compartment and where you stored the Side Effect? Your pictures are wonderful but text is fine for this and hopefully faster.

                          Second thoughts...

I'm thinking maybe I should have gone with indigo instead of steel. This color really looks nice. Great pictures.

                              hi!

if you haven't taken the tags off of yours (or if you haven't gotten it yet), you could still go with the indigo. it is indeed a beautiful blue!
