      Maverick, your videos are amazing!

They are also the greatest tool to entice purchase of the already yummy Tom Bihn creations.

By showing them in real life use, you really bring the dimensions of the bag, the usefulness and depth of its pocket and its great colors contrast to life.

Every videos you made, starting with the Shop Bag has been the best way anyone could imagine showcasing the great Tom Bihn products.

I am really impressed by your dedication to share your videographer's skills with us and also take the time to edit the footage to make it really professional looking.

It is even more impressive realizing that you have a busy full time job and family life.

      Thanks again Maverick!

I would second what you are saying backpack! I think Maverick's wonderful videos are the reason I have bought any of the TB bags in all honesty! they capture the differences in design quality that are not easily seen on a website; and more importantly, he has taught me how to be an even more efficient and thoughtful packer. I thought I was an efficient packer, till I saw Maverick's videos!!! Thank you Maverick for taking the time and the effort. TB is lucky to have you do this for them.

I'm kind of cringing at the thought of putting a lens in that bottom pocket. Even with Domke wraps it could get damaged with just a small lapse in concentration. I can imagine myself cracking a lens after a good meal on vacation where I just forget what's in the bag.

              hi pretzelb,

i would love to see a version of the synapse where each of the pockets in the front are padded with the same 1/4" closed-cell foam used for the padding in the back of the synapse. this would be the photo-edition of the synapse backpack :).

otherwise, you could use padded pouches for your lens, specially the one in the bottom pocket.

i used to use a thick, padded, protective case for my gear. but then i realized that i didn't need all that padding for most day to day use when i'm handling my gear. i had switched to a domke canvas bag, and it's worked out pretty well. it's a bit big for my current needs, but i like the fact that it's not so bulky.
