    I don't think I'm allowed to guess...
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

Current carry: testing new potential materials in the form of Original Large Shop Bags.

      hi darcy!

only if you first correctly guess what is packed inside the field journal notebook! :)

One of the small front pocket of the Co-Pilot.

At first, I was thinking it was one of the Western Flyer front pocket but the curved one seems too small for the FJN.

But... I may be wrong. :)

          Aeronaut.

(speaking of Co-Pilots though... are more black on the way?)

            hi backpack!

it's not the small front pocket of the co-pilot... the field journal notebook will fit in the main compartment of the co-pilot, but the front side pockets are too small to hold it.

and it's not either of the front pockets of the western flyer...

            :)

spoken with such certainty! yes, indeed, it is the aeronaut! :)

now, for extra credit... which pocket of the aeronaut?

and, for the bonus round... which edition of the aeronaut appears in this picture?

End pocket should accommodate the FJN nicely going by known dimensions.

At a guess, end pocket of the original version of the Aeronaut, which did not zip open on the underside.

that's right - it's the top end pocket of the aeronaut! :)

so, to answer the questions that have come up as to whether the field journal notebook will fit in the end compartment of the aeronaut, it does indeed fit very nicely! :)
