so, to answer the questions that have come up as to whether the field journal notebook will fit in the end compartment of the aeronaut, it does indeed fit very nicely! :)

it's not the small front pocket of the co-pilot... the field journal notebook will fit in the main compartment of the co-pilot, but the front side pockets are too small to hold it.
and it's not either of the front pockets of the western flyer...
