Yes! I saw that it was redesigned, with spiffy colors! Too bad I'm not much of a tote person... ooo maybe my mother or an aunt......!
Thanks for listening =)

We hear what you're saying and will keep adding more key loops to all areas of the bags. We've just added three key loops to the inside of the newly redesigned Utility Tote.

Although... I think I've been using my Imago (and other messengers before that) so much that I am definitely not used to backpacks anymore... I am thinking that since it has been awkward (for me, anyway) retrieving the keys from a backpack, I'll probably just take the key thingy off the ring and clip my organizer pouch there.
It could also be said that with a sufficiently large Monolith, both rings would be covered anyway...
Don't mind me, I just tend to ponder things aloud in public forums...

I just wanted to say that I just got my first too.
Smart Alec with a small organizer pouch, a Monolith and a Jimi
It's been bloody brilliant. The people are nice to deal with and very helpful, and shipping was super quick.
It took 6 days (including the weekend) from notification of shipped, to delivery to my door. (US to Aus)
Some comments I would like to make.
The Smart Alec is a lot more comfortable than it looks. It also uses the internal space a lot better than my old bag. Very happy about that. Liked the detachable hip belt too.
I would have loved an elastic strap on the inside (abotu 2/3rds down) to hold the bottom of the Monolith in place, but that is a personal preference.

The Monolith is brilliant!! Like the design very much.
Love the Jimi too, but if there was a limited edition that came in aluminium, I think it would be great!! :) I'm worried that the plastic would snap and break over time...
Cheers, and thanks everyone!!

My first TB bag as well!!
I just recieved my Super Ego (Black/Steel/Wasabi) & 2XL Brain Cell (Wasabi). They are awesome. I ordered them early to mid February, knowing they were on back order. I had originally ordered black/black/steel with a steel Brain Cell, but a girl at work told me I was being wimpy, so I went for Wasabi & LOVE IT! I can't wait to try it out.
I must admit that I was getting a little impatient for my bag, so I ordered the RoadWired Skooba bag from eBags as a back up, in case I didn't like the SuperEgo. How dare I doubt Tom Bihn or his bags! I already have the other packed up & ready to send back to eBags!!!
I ordered the bag/brain cell to carry my laptop around occassionally, but, now that I have recieved them, I think I will be carrying around the bag daily!!!
OK, enough of my rant! LOL

Update
There are only two additions/updates I think would be nice. First, an attachable gadget pouch in one of the water bottle pockets on the side of the bag would be nice. If they could somehow create this pouch for those that already own this model of the Super ego, I would definitely purchase one. This could be done by connecting a clip through the two holes at the bottom. That way you can have quick access to say your itinerary, Jimi, or IPOD. Additionally, a possible buckle to secure the rear pocket would keep the newspapers or magazines more securely in place. I found that some of my papers almost slip out when running into the office because I am late for a meeting. Of course, I am not blaming Mr. Bihn and his team for being late. I blame that bad start on my alarm clock.
I will write more about the pros of this bag after another week of use because I don't think I have utilized all the features and compartments yet. For now, I will say the bag quality is excellent, and I wouldn't be surprised if this bag outlasts my next two laptops.

First Tom Bihn Bag Purchase...
I just ordered the Super Ego (black/black/steel) with the 2XL Brain Cell. I am looking forward to testing this bag out. I also got a Booq 2XL sleeve for my friend as a gift. I should be able to at least compare the Bihn Brain Cell to the Booq Powersleeve. I'll post my review soon.
