Nice setup modjow, I like the range of items you carry.
Yesterday I used both duct tape and a recently-added cable tie to fix a friend’s stroller. It made me feel completely justified in having all this stuff in my kit!
Here is my setup! Already posted on Facebook sometime, but maybe still interesting ?
List of stuff I carry (clockwise from 10 o’clock-ish):
Cloth for glasses
Sewing kit
Scissors
Paracetamol/ibuprofen/hey fever medicine
Female product
Tweezers
Different sizes band aids
Bumps&broozes creme
Wet wipes
Emergency blanket
Make-up remover pad
Chewing gum
Facial wipe
Cotton pad / q-tips
Eye mask (you never know when you need daytime sleep ??♀️)
Hair ties
Mouth-to-mouth mouth piece (for if you need to save a live ?)
Lip balm
More band aids
Toothpaste
Toothbrush
Blister band aids
Ear plugs for concerts and loud crowds (or kids birthday party or office party)
Salt & pepper (spice up your life)
Hair oil
Dental floss
Pen
Screw driver
Hair pins
More hair ties (maybe friends need some too?)
Hand sanitizer
Feminine products in Chinese little pouch
Mirror
Tick remover
Tin of nivea creme
More band aids (I seriously have one kid that always ends up damaged ??)
Tissues

sturbridge sorry I missed your post when I was replying to moriond from my phone! None of my friends would be surprised if I did try to whip egg whites at the playground, but the cream of tartar is meant for applying to a bee sting (you make it into a paste with water). It is supposed to help the stinger come out. When I was a kid we used to use a little bottle labelled “meat tenderizer”. I am not a medical doctor so don’t take my advice but it is small and safe enough to keep in the kit just in case.
I don't have kids, so I don't have the children's pain reliever, but have most everything else. A sweet after an injury helps my mood just as much as it would for a child. :D I'm curious Cristina : what is the cream of tartar used for? I've only used it to stabilize whipped egg whites in meringues.👍 1Leave a comment:

Thanks moriond I had forgotten that the pouchkins were retired. I never use the single ones but the double/ leaf pouchkin is extremely useful for the FAK and HLT2! I might keep an eye out for used ones since I only have the one pictured.👍 4Leave a comment:

Cristina and Others,
I thought I should point out that Pouchkins for the First and Second Aid Pouches were retired about a month ago. (I used the live chat feature on 06-24-2021 to ask Kat whether they’d be making more of these, and was told that they didn’t plan to, then shortly after these showed up as retired). The main First and Second Aid Pouches product page shows Pouchkins as “temporarily unavailable” but if you check the separate product page for the Pouchkins you can see these are retired. The Leaf Pouchkin (shown mounted to the elastic via bayonet clips at the bottom in the photos above) was particularly useful, since you had both the side with two separated clear zippered pockets on one side, and a long, single mesh pocket on the reverse., so you could easily flip it forward or backwards to access additional supplies.
Adding the Leaf Pouchkin from the First and Second Aid Pouches to the HLT 2 (Handy Little Thing 2), which had similar elastic bands at its base, was a popular hack.(You can see some pictures from the debut photos of the HLT 2 in my response post dated 06-26-2021 to the HLT - why one row of elastic loops and one non-stretch? thread started on 06-25-202:
I recently learned from a Youtube review that one of the rows of loops is elastic while the other is non-stretch. Just wondering, why is it like that? I assumed they were both elastic, which seems like it would be preferable.
I did also mention
I also used to show the HLT 2s fitted with Leaf Pouchkins from the First and Second Aid Pouches for an extra pocket. That hack seemed popular, but now the supply of First and Second Aid Pouchkins just recently showed up as retired.
Those Leaf Pouchkin supplies held up for over a year and a half past my original hack.
HTH

Parents’ First Aid Kit
I imagine that this title sounds like a first aid kit to help parents get through the summer (i.e. contains earbuds and wine) but actually I mean the kit that I use regularly at the park or the playground when my elementary-age kids and their friends fall, run into things, or otherwise hurt themselves.
So here it is in photos. The most useful items are:
Adhesive bandages
Antiseptic cream
Children’s painkillers
Candy/sweets (for distraction when treating really bad injuries)
Hmm… in the interest of speed I have uploaded my pics as attachments but I may have to come back and redo these.
