    Visual Size Comparisons

I find it helpful for visualizing a product's size to see it paired with everyday items. I've just placed my first orders so I'll post items here as they arrive.

The photos below are Double Organizer Pouches, small and medium, Canary 1000 Cordura, indoor lighting.

Edit: I added descriptions to each photo but I don't see them, so adding here:

Small DOP + N95 mask (fits in back pocket)
Medium DOP + 16.9oz water bottle
Medium DOP + water bottle inside (not sure I'd use it for this, just added for comparison)
Medium DOP + water bottle inside
Small & Medium DOP in front of LL Bean medium boat tote (TB small organizers will hang great on tote straps, inside & outside, but need hooks/carabiners as the attached snaphook is too small) (fashion sense requires me to add: yellow pouches paired w/ green tote only for photos)
Small DOP with reading glasses and passport (both fit in back pocket), medium DOP on top of iPad Pro 11" 4th gen in slim case (iPad doesn't fit inside, just showing for size).

The descriptions are there but the forum helpfully displays them as white text on a light yellow background (not your fault, just a weird default setting).

Nice comparisons! Never occurred to me that a water bottle would fit... It's a useful reference, thanks.

Photos can be tricky... We wrote up a guide when the Forum software changed a while ago

I tend to write my whole post, including photo comments and add spaces/carriage returns between sections. Then I upload all my photos, scroll to where I want to insert one in that empty space, click to put the cursor there, carefully scroll down to the attachments and select the size to insert (almost always I use 'medium')
Repeat until they're all inserted and save.
If I have many, I may do edit, upload, & save in batches

I'm not super techy so this may be laughably inefficient, but it works for me.

BeachMom This is a great and helpful post. I’m going to point people back to an old thread for the Double Organizer Pouch from when it debuted in 03-26-2014.

There are two entry point posts for photos by taminca :
The many uses of the DOP, Part 1:
        and
Uses of the Medium DOP, Part 1

There’s also a digression if you read through the middle of the entire thread. I noted that around that time people started asking that they include common items in the product page photos to give a visual impression of size, and that around that time they started introducing lots of pictures with Lära Bars in them. If you have a forum login there’s a whole digression thread under the Just for registered users section titled Request: Larabar intervention

        It’s pretty funny.

There’s also an old May 2014 blog post
Taminca's Many Uses Of The Double Organizer Pouch
that extracts some of the pictures I linked above, but the links on that are broken, so it’s easier to give you working links above.

I recently posted about the Packing Cube Shoulder Bag, which will hold an 11” iPad Pro, but probably should be stiffened with a Medium Double Organizer Pouch

If you decide to order a Packing Cube Shoulder Bag, and want to give it slightly more structure, there’s a popular hack to do this: insert a Medium Organizer Pouch or preferably a Medium Double Organizer Pouch in the front diagonal zippered pocket. The front (clear) section of the DOP can be used for items you want to see (here, a pack of travel post cards). The back pouch can be used for items you don’t want/need displayed (passports, travel itineraries, receipts, etc)

The vertical height of the pouch extends nearly the height of the PCSB, and acts as a stiffener:

The original picture was from a post answering what colors of Double Organizer Pouches were available at the time and what were the names of these color combinations. Blues and reds in organizer pouches

I told you that I reused photos a lot for different purposes

These are the 8" key straps (Wasabi and Ultraviolet) and the Clear Organizer Pouch, mini, Canary 1000 Cordura. (All of these items don't fit in the pouch at the same time - just shown for size reference). In the 2nd photo, items inside the pouch are an Athleta face mask, lip balm, and a .35oz Native deodorant (the most slim travel deodorant I've found). Outside: Nalgene bottle (2oz), AirPods. Credit cards and gift cards slide in and out easily.
