    Moss, Dusk, Marigold Cerylon

I received my swatches of the three new Cerylon fabrics and wanted to share some pictures.

gochicken has fine Pantone comparisons of previous fabrics here - this is not that snazzy, just some quick shots

All the Cerylon fabrics are a bit translucent to me, so besides changing colour appearance in different lighting and what they're placed next to, whatever is behind the fabric will also affect perception.

Overall, Marigold seems like another happy cheerful yellow; definitely more on the golden side (like the name implies) so closer to Solaris than Canary.

Moss is very changeable in the light... it can go darker/greyer or brighter, but seems closest in all lighting to the Wasabi 120 Aether, though a touch greener/less yellow.

It is not a bright green in the Grass family to my eyes (though I would love that sort of brighter green at some point - maybe Algae green!? I've always wanted a bright happy green halcyon).

I found it very hard to photograph. The pairing with Ursa and Deep Blue in the Parental Unit pre-order seem spot on (ETA, in terms of pairing is what I meant... colourwise, the TB photos seem brighter green on my screen than the fabric in person)
It would go well with either version of Taiga too.

I didn't leave Sitka in the mix because in contrast, the blue side of Sitka really shows up and it really clashed to me.

ETA: I can't get it to photo well, but Moss with Marigold, etc - the green/yellow shades work well with each other, with the Moss looking more green/less grey when it's with the yellow fabrics.

Dusk 210 Cerylon is a very close match to Dawn 210 Ballistic... slightly different of course and the sheen of the materials are all different, which affects colour perception. If you like the sort of black/grey side of colours (vs red like UV, if that makes any sense) and/or like Dawn or Night Walk, you'll probably really like Dusk.

So overall: Marigold (Solaris); Moss (Wasabi); Dusk (Dawn)...with Moss being the most different.

WOW all three of these are absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for taking the time to do this and for showcasing all of the amazing comparison photos. I'm excited to see these colors in production and how TB will combine them with other colors/fabrics/etc. Based on your photos, I think that they'll make some really wonderful combinations. Moss and Ursa, Dusk and Coyote, and would love to see Marigold alongside a blue or Aubergine. Anyway, that's my suggestions just in case TB is listening. ;)

I don’t need any Pilots, but Aubergine/Marigold and Deep Blue/Moss are In Production and are tempting me! (Ursa/Dusk and Wilderness/Dusk are also listed.)

I really would love to see all these Cerylons plus the first three (Cobalt, Sangria, Mountain Grey) in the full range of Organizer Pouches

Hmmm...when I do a search on one of the new colors, Dusk for example, my search returns 8 items, but only 3 display. If I go through individual items, I can identify 7 of the 8. But what is the last one??? I have my guesses, but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

Getting to the point with too many bags to list them all. Current daily carry is my Black Halcyon Zeitgeist with a Cobalt Cerylon 3DOC as my "purse"/

Sometimes the tags on the items get wonky and MatthewR has to poke them with a stick, but I think Dusk is in 8 items right now. Five accessories and 3 bag interiors

Right now the site is actively showing: PCSB: Cubelet; Clear 3DOC; Fabric 3DOC; VPC
...given where the first three Cerylon have appeared over time, I expect we'll eventually see them in all the other accessories/organizers, hopefully including SHOP BAGS

Interiors showing right now (I know y'all have seen this, but it's interesting to contemplate the list again, as these are the combos TB obviously thinks work well for starting points...depending on how they sell usually affects how often they're offered again and/or in other bags)

                  Parental Unit Pre-order: Deep Blue/Moss; Burnt Orange/Dusk; Black Ballistic/Marigold, Constellation/Marigold; Nebulous Grey/Marigold; Ursa/Moss

                  Pilot In Production: Aubergine/Marigold; Deep Blue/Moss; Ursa/Dusk; Wilderness/Dusk

I big-time second this! I actually think Moss and Marigold would look stunning together and so would Cobalt and Marigold, and given the fabric, it would have to be something organizational. What fun colors, and all are perfect for spring. Would love to add some pop to my bags with these colors in small pouches, etc.

Love the new colors. How's the thickness of the new material? I'm thinking from the standpoint of drawstring pouches. I never liked the Halcyon drawstring pouches because I could never pull them closed properly. I would have small narrow stuff fall out the drawstring hole. Can the new fabric be drawn in tighter?

I have some old Eagle Creek silnylon drawstring pouches, and I could draw them completely closed.

I don't have a Cerylon yarn or travel stuff sack with me on my trip to check that, hopefully someone can chime in.

My overall impression is that the Cerylon is a bit more flexible (whether or not it's actually thinner)
