This will be my first Fjord. I've been eyeing it for while though.

I don't know how popular the Truckasana is and it does have that grippy stuff which may be a unique material... Which to me makes it a candidate for discontinuation or low priority for restock (no insider knowledge here, just years of watching). I've had the Ursa/UV on my list for a long time... Not that I need another Tote Like Object, but I think that's a cool colour combo.

I've suspected it might be low priority for awhile. I just haven't seen a colorway I really liked, and I know that when I buy something I don't like the look of it will not get much use, so is a waste of $ and space. I've seen a few colorways I would have liked but for various reasons missed those opportunities. Sigh. I shall continue to shlep my yoga mat, blocks, etc. in ways that feel more clumsy and uncomfortable. I can see Truckasana being great for picnics too, though I already have picnic-friendly bags.

Ursa/UV does sound like a great combo! Not to my taste to use every day, but I can appreciate it.

An Aubergine/Dusk MCB is on its way to me now. :) I'm thinking to use it with my Aubergine Pop-Tote for a two-day trip next weekend, subway -> train -> rental car -> hotel and back again. I won't need a lot so the two should be enough. And, I'll get to look at the pretty Dusk color in person.

Next up on my "I will order it as soon as I see it available" list is a Truckasana, preferably in Seapine (Verde, Deep Blue or Aubergine would also fit my color preferences) with something cheerful and fun on the inside. Moab, Moss, Dusk or Ultraviolet maybe? There are only a few colorways in stock right now though, and it's been months since I've seen more in production. I'm wondering if I missed the window of opportunity.

I'd planned to buy some more carabiners with this order but didn't see any colorful ones available. Friends are looking longingly at mine so it's time to gift them with their own - after they are back in stock.

I'm looking forward to receiving my new MCB!

Not yet. I'm on a strict budget right now so have a few things marked as celebratory purchases if a project I'm pitching actually moves forward. Maybe a C3D0 or a VPD.

Moss is a really pretty color. I generally prefer greens with more blue than yellow though. Maybe I'll ask for a swatch the next time I put in an order, to see if I love it in real life.

So far I have the Cubelet, VPC, and PCSB... But I think the PCSB is going back in favour of Moss since my blue/grey tendency is currently pretty satisfied by my Cobalt one (let alone all the halcyon ones I have).

I really like Moss in person (more so than Wasabi halcyon) but I also want the Moss-alter-ego my brain sees when I see it on screen... It looks much lighter/brighter/spring-like to me there (like what you're saying with subtle shades) and I want that version of green too!

The Cerylon Dusk is very very similar in color to the 210 Ballistic Dawn... So if Dawn isn't working for you in the PCSB, Dusk might not be for you.

I agree that Dawn is similar in tone with Cerylon Dusk, but Dusk and all the other Cerylon colors are slightly lighter, so maybe that is the basis for Aventurera 's preference?

Exactly! Dusk is a bit more grey than I had been expecting, similar to the way Tidal is more grey than Acuity. I really like Acuity blue but don't love Tidal. Sometimes if something is just a shade or two different it can look really different to me.

Some thing with Island and Cobalt (which I do not like) versus Fjord or Constellation. And Seapine (oops, yes G42, Seagrass was a Long-Covid-brain-induced error-thank you for catching that), is the color of my EDC and a GW I use regularly, versus Wilderness, which I don't want in my line of sight.

We all like what we like.

Dawn is a nice color but I don't love it. I have a Dawn PCSB that I'm thinking to offer for trade or resale. For a wallet, I'd like something that's a bit brighter and stands out better against the often grey interiors of bags.

Now I'm hoping they'll do a Nik's Minimalist Wallet in Dusk. Or Moab. Or Seagrass. (And another run of the FJN - I was offline for a meditation course when the recent production run came online and they sold out before my course ended.)

Did you mean Seapine? The green 630 recycled? Though the name 'Seagrass' is very intriguing!

So far I don't think they've done the Nik's wallets in the 200d Halcyon (ie, Moab) or the 210 Cerylons, but I'd think the Cerylons at least would be viable candidates. With the 210 ballistics being discontinued and the 400 halcyon mill shutting down, I'm sure they've been evaluating what the options are (hopefully NOT discontinuing them, since they're fantastic); maybe MikeV can provide an update.


As for the FJN, they did that brief run because they found old inventory of the (discontinued from manufacturer) binder mechanism and from what they've said, have no plans to find a new supplier/run more. They do come up for trade & sale periodically - that's how I've picked them up (and I may have an extra one, I'll let you know).

Moss looks spring green in the photos on the main site, which is why I kept trying to take different photos...I think it's very hard to capture.
It's not really spring green to me, its really a darker moss colour, I think they named it well. I really like it, but it's not as bright a green as Grass, definitely less yellow than Wasabi, but not spring either (ha, I'm not a lot of help... And apparently can't type or spell today)
