    Good morning,
I've been carrying my Dyneema Synapse all week and here are couple of first thougths. I mentioned earlier that I thought it was a tad bigger than my Cordura Synapse I've done some measuring of the zippers and exterior they are the same size. I'm now convinced that what makes it seem a tad larger is the flexiblity of the fabric. During summer it carries everything you see in the photos along with my lunch. During the winter its a tad small to carry all that, my shoes, hat and gloves.

I still wish the shoulder straps were a bit more "sticky". When I carry it with one strap, which is most of the time, it tends to slip off my shoulder. I have a shoulder strap add on that helps with this. I must add that almost all my bags slip off my shoulder. I think its me and not necessarily the bags. Obvioulsy it doesn't bother me too much, I bought a second one.

The ultraviolet color is lighter and a smidge more redish than the plum color. The ultraviolet has darker Xs woven into the fabric that I like. The Dyneema has a very nice sheen to it too. One real plus to the dyneema is that hair from the evil cat does not stick to it. The fabric feels like it will last forever. The ultraviolet /steel combo is great. As with all TB bags, every seam is tight with not a stitch out of place. No loose threads, all round excellent construction & materials.

I apologize for the lack of immediate photos. I will again mail them to Katy and hope she will be kind enough to put them up for me. Try as I might I cannot figure out how to do it for myself.
    Happy travels,
    Moose

    Hi Susan A,
Yes her collar is purple/plumish. It has little silver/grayish kitty paws woven in to it. Its very close in color to my plum Synapse, FJN, Side Effect and various plum pouches. You've got a good eye.
    Happy travels,
    Moose

I really like the Synapse; its just a shame my disability precludes me from from wearing a rucksack. I actually feel like buying one just to play with, even if I can never put it on my back!!

Thank goodness I was already done with breakfast. Otherwise, milk would have come out of my nose!

    Backpack,
Please, no, a plum Synapse with an ultraviolet interior would mean I'd have to have yet ANOTHER Synapse. :) The plum FJN does work well with the ultraviolet. Glad you like the pictures.
    Happy travels,

    Just gorgeous!

Thank you Moose for sharing how Plum and Ultraviolet go together so perfectly.

The Plum FJN is perfect with Ultraviolet and Plum Cordura looks perfect with Ultraviolet Dyneema.

Let's go Spartacus on the Emperor of Color Coordination Choices (Tom) and
ask: Plum Synapse with Ultraviolet lining!

Thanks for the pictures, especially the first one with the FJN in perspective. It's funny, but from the pictures the Ultraviolet looks more Plum than the Plum. Gorgeous colors no matter the name.

    Hi Katy,
Thank you for putting up the photos. You're the best. As for the cat, she is drop dead gorgeous, the picture does not do her justice. She better be beautiful, because otherwise she's just plain evil. :)
    Thanks again,
    Moose

    Good morning,
I was anxious to give my new Synapse a try. I loaded it up last night and have one quick first thought. When I saw Candi's photo with the dyneema Synapse I thought maybe it looked a little bigger than my cordura Synapse. After putting stuff in it last night I do belive it is a smidge larger. It could be the dyneema is more flexible which makes it seem larger and to hold more.
    Happy travels,
    Moose

Looking forward to the pictures! After you give your new Dyneema Synapse a good test run, I, for one, would love it if you would you give us a compare & contrast with your Plum Synapse. ;)
