but on top of that, national geographic recently released their dinopedia for the ipad. that alone makes it a worthwhile purchase for my son.

let's just say it's best for me to finish exercising before my son wakes up.

actually, there is a lot of cool educational software for the ipad. i downloaded something from nasa. we haven't had a chance to look at all that it offers, but you have information about all of the planets in the solar system and and galaxies in there.

there is a memory game we like to play.

the user interface is very intuitive, very easy for kids of all ages to pick up.

and this is just the start. we are a year into the ipad ecosystem, and the software is maturing. it's only going to get better and better.
I have the original (64GB 3G) and I love it, though I do keep thinking about another MBA (I had the first one), but can't make up my mind. I will, inevitably buy the iPad 2 - I'll try not to but I'll find myself in Cancom or John Lewis (no Apple store in Edinburgh) and it'll just jump in to my hands and, before I know it, there'll be a hole in my credit card!

My brother has an app on his iPhone that , if you hold it up to the night sky, it tells you what stars you're looking at.

I take my iPad everywhere with my in my Ristretto of course and i just had broadband installed in my Spanish house, so I won't have a frightening mobile bill this time £400/$600 for my last trip, between my iPad, iPhone and MBP). I also use it to control my SONOS music and to stream music through airport expresses. It is a great thing.

P.S. I prefer the Kiwi colour in Mav's video, even if the bird is cuter!

Have you changed your camera, or is it just my screen?
same camera, but i was able to shoot during daylight and that must have helped. i definitely haven't come near your screen. ;-)
