Hi Pilar,
The iPad2 is great. I've got the 64GB 3G just as I had with the 1st generation. It feels better in your hands though in reality its only marginally thinner and lighter. The smart covers are really good. I'm using a black leather one which was hideously expensive, but it just fits so well that it keeps the slim nature of the iPad. Other covers tend to bulk it up to twice its size or more. Even the excellent MacAlly one I had for the old one suddenly feels huge. In use the new version is faster, but as I'm not a gamer its not noticeably faster. The front facing camera is useful for using Face Time which seems to work rather better than Skype. I use it to talk to my brother in Bristol. Its not, overall, a huge step up from the 1st generation, but as my old one has found a new and rather more appreciative home than I expected with my wife, i'm glad I upgrades. I'm just sorry yours is going to take so long to arrive. Oh, and one last thing, pop in to Jessops or Jacobs or somewhere and buy a couple of their large microfibre cloths (about a foot square for around a fiver) you're going to need them unless you like greasy finger marks that is!
Eric
