Oh Moose, no accidents. Just buying an RV in need of TLC with the intention of fixing it up and reselling it for profit. Like flipping real-estate, but the investment of money, and time is significantly less.

For now we use our eBags packing cubes that I got pre TB. They are in enough colors to diversify for our needs. The ribbon or yarn idea on steel cubes might work if I didn't already have a solution. :) But sometimes my kids need obvious delineation, vs. a subtle one. Actually, sometimes I confuse myself with my organization when I don't have enough differences between the various compartments I choose.
I really, really like TB Bags!

Maybe dorayme can make color-coded TB "strap harnass" for each packing cube. Sorta like your daughter modeled for us? ;-)

I use color-coded pairs of Eagle Creek cubes for our family, but the cubes are rather shallow, and stuff falls out. Can't justify new ones...yet. The color-code thing has worked really well for us. No one has noticed yet how nifty my Tristar is for packing. Once they figure that out, they will all want color-coded Tristars and WFs. Can't afford that for a while!

I realize this is an ancient thread ... but after two years of looking and coming to the decision an airstream is not a reasonable option We decided on a Casita and it fell quickly into place. We looked at quite a few and found a two yr old 17' owned by a guy who waxed it each outing and had made wooden accessories by hand lovingly
It is in lovely condition and we LOVE it
Typically we tent camp but as hubs gets older , reality hits and trudging outside to restrooms in rain3-4x a night got old for him.
Usually it takes us a while to set up camp
but we pulled it and detached leveled snd that was it We hit the trail as soon as I changed -simple!
We were at a state park and had a lovely time- rolling green grassy meadows towering green oaks and falling sleep hearing 2 types of owls the temperature was perfect w a light breeze and it rained only at night
We kept our first trip local and simple and took my swift ,2TT a SE and four LSB.
Next time I am measuring the storage compartments to match up what we have and we may take an A30 or two (!!)
I think they may fit below the beds .
I had to sell my beloved RAV4 as it wasn't strong enough to pull it.
But I took one for the team and we are having a great time
