    Your Photos Are Needed

My kiwi COW has been accompanying me on an action packed and sunny, warm weekend. Yesterday biking and paddle boarding, then today a waterfall and lake hike. Even though it was in the 80s and felt much hotter hiking up, up, up there was still a lot of snow at the lake. Most of W Washington seemed to have the same idea!

Lovely hike with a lovely destination: Lake Serene.

Thanks for the bonus pic. A nice place for a refreshing mid-hike shower (a tad chilly this time of year, however).

                    Thanks @Ilkyway!

I worked unexpectedly until 2:30 a.m. last night, and this picture provides a much needed refreshing start to my morning! :)

Synapse 25 went with me to the library. It is my first day of graduate school. I got this bright idea to make it my work bag for the summer and my school bag. Negative ghost rider, the pattern is full. Way to heavy. Besides probably parring down what I take, I also will begrudgingly admit defeat and do 2 bags. Most likely the s25 as summer camp work bag and my A30 pcbp as school bag. I fortunately do not need to take much with me to class. In the mean time for today I just put a few things into my sidekick and grabbed a notebook (pic 2).

I recently had to shift my beloved orange New Balance running shoes to dog park status as the fabric was starting to tear. I like having bright shoes to make me more visible as I walk to and from the train so I replaced them straightaway with a pair of bright yellow sneakers, as this seems to be their current bright color of choice. Sitting between my feet is my ID messenger bag with its lovely aubergine front, keeping my MacBook and iPad safe and secure as I ride the MAX to work.

I think I may be a complete convert to using the HsJ for longer trips or trips when I am not going minimalist. I took the main pack in combination with my CP this past week, and it performed like a champ. I love the deceptively slim yet comfortable straps and hip belt, and since the side straps can be cinched when it is under packed , it carries loads in a stable manner.
