I got my Luminary yesterday - not quite love at first sight but I think it's because I'm coming from a bag with front pockets and compartments. Today I bought a few simple pencil pouches and attached them to the o-ring inside with a key strap and I was able to utilize the upper part of the bag without having to dig blindly in the bag for what I need.
I have to say that the real drawback for me is the zippers not going all the way down. It's so so dark inside the bag and without being able to open it more fully, I can't see anything unless I'm under a light. I really hope the next version just has a front compartment and opens all the way.
Today, when I actually used the bag, it was very comfortable and fun to carry.

Love-love-loving the 525 Ballistic on the MCB! It is...for wont of a better description, wonderfully "shooshy" when walking. It slides against clothing rather than clings...and it is the Goldilocks standard of flop/structure... and the BOING of color inside--fantastic.

This afternoon I returned home to coastal north Queensland, Australia from a three-week visit with my dad and step-mum in Connecticut, accompanied by my husband who joined us for a short while. Here is our cabin baggage at home 37 hours and three flights after the van picked us up for the drive to JFK. My under-packed Aeronaut 30 is looking a little lumpy after I shoved various things in it for the drive home from our home airport, but overall this Halcyon foursome is, unlike us humans, as crisp as when we started out.
This large Cafe Bag and an Aeronaut (either this A30 or a ballistic A45) are now my standard duo for air travel. The Original Halcyon LCB serves perfectly as my carry-on personal item, and then as my EDC/purse at destination; I'm fortunate that this works aesthetically in my current contexts. The Black Halcyon A30 was my cabin baggage 'suitcase' on this trip, carried full on the way over, and half full on the way back because I offloaded some contents into checked luggage.
The Black Halcyon Daylight Backpack is, now, often my husband's personal item when he flies. And he hand-carried the large Fjord Shop Bag (a new acquisition) containing a fragile gift from a dear friend, a hand-blown glass vase that she recently found in an antique shop. Closed with the key strap hooked diagonally across the top, this LSB, uncannily, fit the box perfectly and provided such sturdy (but very comfortable) carriage for this delicate item that I didn't worry about it at all. The fluoro 'fragile' stickers were to protect it cramming by others while in the overhead bins, but I discovered that Halcyon quite dislikes stickers and tape.
And here is our checked luggage: hubby's ballistic A45 and three cardboard boxes. Often I stock up on studio and household supplies when I visit the US, and carry them back in checked luggage. Now that I have jettisoned my big suitcase (thanks to TB and this forum), cardboard boxes usually do this job! My box art isn't fun like the TB crew's, but it's functional, I hope. The boxes always emerge battered. The ballistic A45's do not!

Just received an order with large and small Dawn and Canyon shopping bags. Besides swatches, it’s the first time I have seen those two colors in person and have to say I love them. It’s a shame they will be retiring soon. I think they would have been a big hit if they stayed around. But I really, really love the Mars Red/Canyon SE. Oh, wow, it’s beautiful and that red packs a punch of color, and it looks great paired up with Canyon. I’ve always loved Cardinal and Crimson but not Red Blend, so I am happy the new Mars Red is totally awesome.
But probably the most exciting items in the box were two small double organizer pouches in halcyon. I have been scouring the TB world looking for one and now have two. I am going to use the Iberian one for first aid-type things in my EDC, and the NWS pouch will be used as a wallet. Last year I took one to Japan and the paper Yen fit in it perfectly. I hope to see more halcyon double organizer pouches in all sizes in the near future. (Sorry for the poor pictures, guys.)
