    Your Photos Are Needed

My Daylight Briefcase showed up the other day and I couldn't be happier.

I'm a huge fan of messenger/shoulder bags and I recently upgraded my laptop to a 13 MacBook Pro. The MCB I was using previously was excellent when I had my 11 Air but I don't like how the 13 fits in the MCB.

Also in the bag is an organizer my daughter wanted me to have which holds my Beats X earphones, Apple mouse, Anker charger, and a mini lightning cable. I also carry an O Light flashlight inside a Leatherman pouch along with a Leatherman Wave, the extra bits and the extension.

I'm really loving the organization of this bag and the multiple zipper compartments. I was even able to fit my Sony a6300 inside its neoprene case!

    Awesome bag!

Edit: Forgot that there is also a Hyperdrive USB-C hub that goes in the pouch.

My box arrived today with an S19 and S25. If I were an inch or two taller I'd have loved the spacious S25 but have decided to keep the S19. First of all - it's gorgeous!!!! Deep Blue with grass interior. I wasn't sure about the grass but it is perfect as an interior color. I test packed the bag for next weekend's trip to NYC where I'll pair it with my CP for minimalistic train travel.

I fit all my clothing into the medium yeoman packing cube and put it on the bottom of the bag. I'll be able to remove it when I'm settled and use that packing cube as a "dresser drawer". My toiletries fit into the lower outside pocket in an Eagle Creek specter bag. Water bottle, shoes, etc, fit easily into the remaining space with room to spare in the main pocket as well as two unused outside pockets.

But what I was most excited about was realizing (after 20 minutes of trying to attach camera inserts) the iPad cache works perfectly for my DSLR and small bino! (binoculars not pictured) Has anyone else used the cache for cameras, etc?

Congrats on the new S19! I'd really like to see a picture of how you're using the iPad cache for your dSLR. I usually put my m4/3 into a small insert and put the insert in the backpack, but then it always end up being at the bottom or middle with stuff piled on and that's inconvenient. An alternate solution involving a cache might be just what I need.

Mars Red Side Effect! I already love it. Mars is an earthy red, not an assertive red. Canyon is a nice surprise, too. It's not orange, but sort of an orange-ish, clay-ish, earthy shade. It complements Mars red very well.

I got a Dawn Cubelet as well. It's a nice shadowy color.

I took my mars/dawn MCB with me to see the Terracotta Warriors exhibit at the Pacific Science Center.

I didn't want to chance accidentally touching something while trying to take a photo with my MCB, so I took these photos from above.

I loved the dinosaur sculptures outside.

Please more MCBs in Deep Blue / Grass! My wife asked me to get a SCB in that colorway but it's a bit too small. Potential convert alert! More MCBs please!! :)

I love my Travel Trays. I buy them for gifts all the time. Here are my own personal ones. My husband and children also own at least one. I guess that means all told I have at least nine in our home, all actively in use.

They are fabulous tools for keeping me organized in colorful, joyful style.

                        @BWeaves,

That looks amazing! I too have the cloud/viridian SE, with red zipper pulls and just love how nice it looks. What is an inkle and how big is it? I do very small weaving projects on homemade cardboard and with those old Weave-its from the 40's. It is fun, but I am limited to square and rectangular shapes. Would love to make some straps though, however I don't have much space for a big piece of equipment.

Hi Anna: Inkle is a medieval term for band or ribband or ribbon. Inkle looms are fairly small. They fit in your lap or sit on a table. I have a floor model which is maybe 1 yard tall, 1 yard long and 8 inches wide. I'll try to take some photos tonight and upload them. Since they look like a warping board, as soon as you have them warped, you're ready to weave.

I wove two inkles in one day, during Hurricane Irma. It kept me distracted and focused and calm during the storm.
The key strap and shoulder strap are one band. The A45 is a different band with a slightly different pattern. The rest of that band became a belt. It was going to be a shoulder strap for my SK, but it wasn't wide enough, so I'll have to weave another inkle for my SK.

My husband has been trained to look for my inkles, because I use the same colors and similar patterns on all my luggage. So if you ever see someone with a TB bag or Briggs & Riley bag with inkles like this on them, it's me.

                              Greetings,
I noticed that you have the pink barrel four-color pen. Did you get it recently? I love my blue one, but more color options are always nice to have. Thank you! elisa

Middle school teachers are heroes in my book.
Between the stinky kids, and all the craziness that results from having a whole classroom full of young people going through puberty all at the same time, I think all middle school teachers should get hazard pay.
