I was looking at the photo thinking one of these bags is not like the others and then read your note on the canvas bag.

My s19 waiting to board for home on the gulf coast. My verdict? I liked the s19 capacity wise, but the straps just absolutely killed my shoulders and upper back. I thought since I am only 5ft it would be perfect; apparently my s25 fits wayyyy better. The waist strap on the s19 was awkward even my small frame.

I find it interesting you had this experience! I am exactly the opposite, at 5ft 1 the S25 is absolutely unbearable for me to carry, but I can trek around with the S19 all day long. Surprisingly I also have good luck with the Smart Alec, despite being much larger the shoulder straps are a perfect fit for me.

Here's my NFTD and Side Kick in the Air Canada sizer, from recent travel:




The aircraft was a tiny CRJ100/200. Everyone with a roller had to gate-check their bags. The NFTD, of course, fit anywhere.

Seat selection was an extra $10 per leg, and I was too cheap to pay for that. When I got my boarding pass, I realized that I was placed in the very back of the plane, by the toilet. Yechhh. So on the flight home I tried a travel hack I'd read about. I sat in the terminal while they called my zone, and all the other zones, and waited patiently for everyone to line up and go through. So I was the very last to board. Then I casually asked the flight attendant if there were any free seats up front, and I was placed in row four, which was completely unoccupied. (Obviously this won't work on a 100% full flight. And FWIW, all the seats were 'economy'; I wasn't trying to switch fare classes.)

The NFTD was great as a travel bag for a short trip. As on previous occasions, I found it really easy to organize and live out of; in the same way as the Aeronaut. The only problem was on the last day, when I could not find a place to store it after checking out of my room, and ended up carrying it all over the city. It seemed completely manageable at first, but by the end of the day, my arms were really sore! After a few miles, even a small bag gets heavy. Probably a backpack, or something with convertible backpack straps, would have been more practical. However, I find the square shape really easy to pack, and it looks so "cute" and classy at the same time. Also very practical on the airport buses:



I kind of wish there was something, about 22-24 liters, with the three-way carry system of the Western Flyer and the compartments of the NFTD :)

I keep seeing the Night Flight Travel Duffel and it makes me want one. Badly. But I think it would be too small for me. But still, gosh, it's a sweet looking bag!

It is very small. Perfect for a lot of situations, but I would not want it to be my only option. I just love the way the compartments are set up though. I always seem to end up in places with no dressers or decent nightstands, and the fact that you can basically use it for storage on-site is really useful.

I can also see it being perfect for many situations. Though I wish TB would make the side pockets 'unzippable' like the A30 and A45. Then I'd buy it in a heart beat!

I used the Guide's Edition S25 as my camera and day bag during my walking in Highline, NYC. The day was chilly and the S25 was very useful to carry multiple layers of clothing, water and my camera accessories. The internal frame made it the whole day much more enjoyable. I can't imagine using the S25 without it anymore! (not joking). A review with much more details and photos is coming soon.

Yeap definitely. I didn't know the S25 was this big. It's actually a very good size for one bagging or anything alike. I used it for a full day while I was walking around in Manhattan and It was very comfortable. However I think the S19 could fit better for city hikes (didn't used them).

Ok looks like it works!

I became a band “parent” this year when my DD joined the 300 member high school marching band. The Alphaviolet Travel Cubelet was perfect for carrying around my wallet and keys, iPhone, Band parent badge, gloves and hand warmers, flashlight, hand lotion, OPs with snacks, etc:

I had been using my Luminary for football games, but then they banned bringing backpacks into the stadium [emoji853]

For all day competitions, I also needed to bring cold weather stuff... a blanket for the cold metal stadium bleachers, and my down coat. Everything fit in a Large Shop Bag, but I was nervous things would fall out.

Enter the POP TOTE...



The Pop Tote seemed to be just the right size between my Swift and a Large Shop Bag. I could carry my down coat, blanket, Hydroflask (16 oz Wide Mouth), Medium YSS with project, and Travel Cubelet with all the EDC stuff mentioned earlier… AND there was still space for a couple of OPs with snacks and tissue, etc. The padded handles are a blessing, as they have been with the Shop Bags. The zipper lets you secure everything quickly, and the snaps keep the folds out of the way when you want the bag to function as a true tote. The zip and open pockets on either side are perfectly sized for little items that you need to access quickly.

It seems like we have been waiting forever for the “zippered Shop Bag”…. the Pop Tote is worth the wait!

For all day competitions, I also needed to bring cold weather stuff... a blanket for the cold metal stadium bleachers, and my down coat.

If you look in the hunting section of most outdoor stores, they sell these awesome seat pads that you put under your butt, they really insulate you from the cold metal bleachers and some even have heat reflective material to keep your buns nice and toasty warm.

I was a band kid in high school in Ohio. Winter games in Ohio with aluminum bleachers was COLD. The butt warmer seat pads were a must.
