One-Bagging with Nordic CP and Navy TS
It was love at first sight when I glimpsed an Aubergine/Wasabi Co-Pilot at my recent visit to the TB Mothership, a love that has only deepened upon discovering the extra o-rings and after using it as my business EDC for several weeks. Just as I was thinking that MAYBE my Nordic CP deserves to go to another loving home, I was shown again how marvelous a Dyneema CP, especially Nordic Dyneema, is for one-bag travel.
Am heading out for a week-long business trip and needed to pack business and casual wear, along with running shoes and workout wear. And also needed a business bag. Since I will be hoofing through airports and using public transpo, I traded my usual CP-WF combination for a CP-TS arrangement, and found that a PACKED CP can snuggle inside the front larger compartment of the TS in a perfect fit!
Photos are below... sorry for the awful color of the walls. Not sure what happened, but my walls are a nice subtle green (almost wasabi-like) not the garish yellow that appeared on my screen.
And here is the loaded TS, with CP, on my 5'3" frame. I walked around the house, up and down the stairs, and it felt comfortable on my back. Not too heavy and very nice to have my hands free.

My first thought was: how nice the blues pop up against the yellow ;-). I feel the same about the two Co-Pilots: the Aubergine as a Solo and the Nordic as a bag-in-bag.
Love your Tri-Star.... one day... maybee... but for now I just marvel at all the great pictures.“Ankh-Morpork people considered that spelling was a sort of optional extra. They believed in it in the same way they believed in punctuation; it didn't matter where you put it so long as it was there.”

Here is the trio upon arriving at our room in the Ashland Springs Hotel.

I may offer to 'trade' Ms Paul7575 for the Black/Iberian S19 I have purchased for her birthday should she prefer the Navy. Unfortunately for me, my luck is such that she will see both, fall in love with both and thus claim both! I have to make sure I have my tactics and patter down-pat before the 'birthday' unveiling.
Actually, it is a pre-birthday gift as there is no was I can be patient until her birthday. I am already exercising all the patience I have!

Just now seeing your pictures... I LOVE how the Daylight looks here! Something about the Burnt Orange next to Nordic, and the scale of Daylight vs the SCB. So tempting... :) :) :)

Monkeylady, may I ask you for a close up on the camera-mount you/Mr. Monkeylady build there? Is the weight on his neck or on the Shoulder Straps?
By the way, love the room. All the wood is so beautiful and the sparkle of sun you added with your Travel Tray... just great! Have a wonderful trip.

Mr. Monkeylady has corrected me (what do I know?) and says the TB key straps are attached to the harness for the binocs. With this the case, the weight is distributed through the harness. We'll take some pics in the next few days and post.
Yes, Sacha Lodge is extraordinarily beautiful and the jungle is breath-taking. A highly recommended trip, but, alas, not for very young children...jungle-eager 11 years and up, yes.The stockpile keeps growing...I'm in serious trouble.
