I've just received the order I placed last Tuesday morning (Monday for everyone in the US), which again got to New Zealand so amazingly fast - 6 days! There was only one item from the debut, a ghost whale in seapine which is a beautiful colour. I'm looking forward to more items in seapine.

I also got other items I've been thinking about for a while. The small travel tray looks really useful. Although I thought it might be too small, I think I might end up using it more than the large travel tray.

Finally the greetings tape was a really nice touch!

Merry Christmas to me! Loved the HLT2. I added split rings to the loops so I could attach my strap.

Only complaints... much prefer the SE label on a small bag, and those pesky interior zips. Why don’t they unzip from the top where they’d be accessible without opening the whole bag?

                Hi @Traveltech,

I think that one of the modes of using the HLT2 (and HLT1) is supposed to be where you’re journaling, and holding the HLT (either size) completely open (book fashion), with your hand through the handle loop and thumb through a thumb loop at the back supporting the “spine” of the open HLT while you write. In this (90°rotated) orientation you also want to access the interior zippers, and not have anything fall out by assuming a single orientation and access/use method. So, I think you’re just seeing the thoughts behind the many different ways in which people can and will use the HLTs show up in its design.

Just my thoughts on this, of course, YMMV(=your mileage may vary, i.e. you may have a different experience and interpretation)

HTH, and great bears in the decorations!

Just got a box of goodies, including the firewood carrier! Hoping this will be a great gift for my stepfather. It makes me wish I had a fireplace!! Very nice bag.

Also wanted to say, if you are considering an Icon, don't overlook the Rainbow Zip one! It's quite nice in person. The black tames it down a bit, and it's so much fun to see the conjunction of different zippers, particularly the wasabi and purple combo at the top! Hoping I can make this bag work for me (as I have shoulder issues), because I love it. Note that the wasabi might appear yellow in some of these photos, but that's just due to the limitations of my phone camera. It's delightfully wasabi-ish.

Showing the Seapine Green Travel Cubelet, Zojirushi mug, and notebook and iPad Mini in the back, all in the main compartment. (Or, as I call it, the Wasabi/Alphaviolet Compartment):

Day Two of carrying the Icon, and it's pretty nice! My shoulder is ok so far, though if I was walking around all day (ie, touring), I would probably have to switch over to a backpack, due to my upper back issues. While I love carrying a shoulder bag again, it's definitely limiting vs. a backpack, as I have to think carefully about what I can take with me for the day. But seems far more forgiving than something like the Small Cafe Bag.

The Travel Cubelet is great in the main compartment, and I'm really enjoying the Seapine Green. TB hit it out of the park with this color.

I can’t wait until my Seapine Green TC finally arrives! The picture looks so pretty...

I also have a picture to share - I’m usually not all that much into using several pouches, but today I’ve used three in my MCB which has been the perfect work bag for me. And as you can see I love to match my colors!

I like the old OP with the contrasting blue trim :)

It’s actually fairly new (definitely Aubergine 525), but maybe old style. I got it as a special thank you for being a guinea pig for testing out shipping options.
