Anyone able to photograph Acai next to Ultraviolet just to see the differences between those two colors?
Açaí vs. Ultraviolet keystrap and Plum Cordura pouch.I have owned Ultraviolet and Alphaviolet items and Açaí is much darker, between grape jelly and the skin of a red plum.

I actually do own a Plum Cordura FJN (it's sitting in my lap right now while I make some notes) so that's a good basis for comparison, at least for me!

Thanks again for the helpful pictures, Shortie.

I own a LOT of Tom Bihn bags, but here are the ones I'm using right now:

      EDC: SH
      Day Hiking: ADX26
      Car Travel: T45, MT, MYD
      Plane Travel: CP, WF, SZTSB

Here's a blog post I wrote about my 3 favorite bags:

I've commented before about the SG23 being a great shopping pack, so here are some pictures. I am a nice walking distance from a shopping area with a mall and groceries, and I prefer to walk there to do my shopping. A backpack is better than shop bags for this purpose -- I can keep my hands/arms free, and the pack is more comfortable for heavy loads than shop bags. This wasn't a heavy load at all, but it was bulky. I carried back a pair of Blundstones (in the box!!) and a small amount of groceries, packed around the box and in the brain. The very nice gentleman at the shoe store was impressed I could fit the box in my backpack, and he asked who made the pack :p

I realized once I got home that I should have gotten the SG23's photo taken with the mall Santa. Oh well, missed opportunities...

Seconding the photo request of açaí next to ultraviolet, if any of you don’t mind and have the time. Please and thank you. 🙂

Also haven't seen many VPC photos yet from folks...
I really like the Vertical Packing Cubelets. I just received a batch of these, including Açai for comparison with Moab. My impulse is to refer to these as 3DVOCs (3D Vertical Organizing Cubes). They are really sized both for beverages (500 liter bottles) and liquid toiletries -- a much better fit than using an Everyday Cubelet. Height matches the Side Kick

Here's an example of Açai in the vertical and 3D fabric OCs. In the foreground I've inverted a Black Halcyon/ Moab Side Kick. Açai goes really nicely with Fjord, which is the color of my Snake Charmer that was released in limited edition Halcyon colors around Thanksgiving 2016. Also shown for comparison in front of the Açai 3D Fabric Organizer Cube are NIk's Wallet in Nordic Halcyon (the one I've been using since they came out). To the right is Night Walk, and in front is Black Halcyon. The color contrast of the picture makes is hard to see, because the light grid is relatively suppressed by the resolution on the color background, but Nordic and Night Walk are considerably more "matte" in the appearance of the grid than in Black Halcyon.

Here's another color comparison. Vertical Cublets in Moab (front left) and Açai (back right, holding the 500 ml bottles in the above picture). The Small Grab Bag shown with the Grass outside color and the Aubergine tones on the side is Mistah J (of the sequence with City Blues and Montana). You can see that I can make the color work with Açai, but not really with Moab. For comparison, an Everyday Cubelet in Wasabi is shown in the front right. It's wider and shorter than the 3D VOC. You could one of these into a Side Kick, it wouldn't "marsupialize" as well as two 3DVOCs. On the other hand, while I can just fit a Kindle Paperwhite in the 3DVOC, it's actually better carried in an Everyday Cubelet.

                Moab and Açai
Here's a composite of the Cubelets and recent small grab bags. The vertical cubelet colors are Taiga and Moab, and the Kindle Paperwhite is in front of the Wasabi Everyday Cubelet and to the right of the inverted Black Halcyon/ Moab SIde Kick. In the back are small grab bags Broadway and Mistah J. and newer offerings in Coyote Diamondback/Navy 420 Parapack and Logic 630 Recycled/Steel 420 Parapack. (I wouldn't have ordered Diamondback without @MatthewR's description of its texture when he was asked whether it was like piscine)

The Diamondback has a larger ripstop pattern than the Piscine, and to my fingers it has a slightly stiffer hand.
