The Moss one holds a collection of various things - a Covid test, a small hairbrush, my Bose SleepBuds, and, most importantly, some emergency chocolate :)

They were simply ideal for this trip. Will look out for more applications in the future.
Emergency chocolate! I remember that idea from the Emotional Bug Out Bag thread https://forums.tombihn.com/forum/tom...-bag#post13254

Haven't tried the VPC much as a toiletry bag yet, probably because I don't carry the taller items like you and Chicagoan do, but that's pretty useful.

I either didn't realize or totally forgot  that the VPC is a different depth (but same panel size) as the 3DOC, so thank you for pointing that out! I really like vertical organization, so these work well for me; I like looking down into a bag and having different things that are easy to grab & go - I leave them open inside a bigger bag sometimes, just like with the E/TC.

I remember that was supposed to be one of the uses of the Size 1 Travel Stuff Sack

Just came across these photos again ... Yes, that's a plush toy version of the meme. And it fits nicely into this Navy Sprout (now in heavy use by niece 4.0, whereas the dog is back to relaxing on my sofa).

Ooohhhhh, look how good the Black Halcyon SE and E/TC look on the Smart Alec... And I don't even much like black bags

Thanks TB Crew for using some of the last 400d Halcyon on the Everyday Cubelets!!!

And someone on Ravelry had asked how the Bantam looks, so here's a Steel in top. You can tell it's smaller, but fits just fine.

And weirdly, whilst I love Night Walk, it doesn't go nearly as well as all the other colours to me

Oh the Bantam slots much better up top than the Side Effect. It looks so nice as a UMP, and much easier to remove since you only have to unclip one side.

OG Nordic Bantam on spring break in Vancouver, BC. Works great as a crossbody bag to hold my camera, and then add a pouch inside my backpack. I like the small size, the 400d halcyon makes it much more structured and less floppy.

I'm only one coffee into my day so forgive the brain fog :) why only have to unclip one side...?

And have fun on spring break! Vancouver is lovely though I haven't been in years

If using the SA gatekeeper strap through the Bantam, then only one side would need to be unclipped since you'd slide the bag out. But if you're using single gatekeepers on both sides, then you'd need to unclip both ends.

The company won a big contract in Italy and management said Thank You with gift boxes full of Italian specialities. Which left me with the question how to get mine home? I don't have a car and the office is in walking distance anyway, so goodbye cardboard box and hello Large Shop Bag.

Now I need to figure out what half of that stuff even is, since the labels are all in Italian

Zest keystraps & swivel carabineers arrived today. The keystraps are much lighter in colour than the Zest fabric, at least to me. They do seem to match the product photos, but I wasn't sure what to expect.
They're not bad, just lighter... Kind of creamsicle lighter

I no longer recall when I acquired these mini orange (and I think they were called orange vs Zest) swivel carabineers (on the left), but I seem to have four of them.

They're a darker red/orange (dare I say Monarch adjacent?) than the new Zest ones; I prefer the newer, lighter shade.

                              Aww, man.

                              I miss the red-orange Monarch.

Zest was a little too bright and reminded me too much of a "safety" orange - I want to see that color, I'll just jump on an Illinois tollway!
I own a LOT of Tom Bihn bags, but here are the ones I'm using right now:

                              EDC: SH
                              Day Hiking: ADX26
                              Car Travel: T45, MT, MYD
                              Plane Travel: CP, WF, SZTSB

Here's a blog post I wrote about my 3 favorite bags:

That's so funny, because I have the exact opposite reaction, I think Monarch is more safety cone orange/red tomato... Just goes to show that we all perceive colour differently!

ETA, I don't know that Monarch has a big fan base overall compared to the other halcyons... Doesn't get a lot of love. I have Shop Bags that are super cheerful in it.
