Not a picturesque destination, but I'm glad I had my useful TB EDCs at a dementia conference today. Inside the Little Swift is the new small CBFS which gives plenty of organization with enough room around it for a hard-shell sunglasses case, wristlet wallet, Q-kit (hand sanitizer & lip balm) and a pocket pouch for cards.

Marty and the Time Machine should be here all week if you're in the area and want to come check it out. PM me if you're going to be here and would like to meet up.

Marty's a really friendly guy! He was dressed in the same clothes yesterday as well (that was his attire in the original Back to the Future movie). He also has the jacket, shoes, hat and Hover Board from Back to the Future Part II.
The movie theater in the Town Center is playing all 3 movies tomorrow evening. And there is a Red Carpet showing of Back to the Future on Sunday evening. Doc Brown, Jennifer and Principal Strickland are supposed to attend!-m

Bijouxandbeads great picture! How does the PU carry in Dyneema?
Ilkyway“Ankh-Morpork people considered that spelling was a sort of optional extra. They believed in it in the same way they believed in punctuation; it didn't matter where you put it so long as it was there.”

In these pics all I have in the middle is my iPad and a travelers' notebook. In the outer pocket 1, I have an umbrella, a couple of small organizer pouches with electronic odds and ends, and a small Q kit. In outer pocket 2, I have another small Q kit, a fairly empty side effect, and a roll up pen case. Seen from the side, there are fabric ripples due to the center section being relatively empty. Seen from the front, I really like how the "ears" of the bag go vertical (I have always found the PU to be better looking in use due to this - when at rest those "ears" tend to point outward making the bag look wider at the top). When I get home tonight I will do some comparison packs with my ballistic PU and my mirror less camera kit - lots of hard shapes and angles to test. I also really like how the various fabric sections show against each other in dyneema, I feel it does a neat job of showing off the complex bag construction and the arch of the zippers - provides more visual interest.
Oooh, thank you so much for posting pics - I really like it in dyneema. I love my ballistic PU, but there are times when I wish it had just a smidge more give. It looks great!!Swift (Plum/Forest), Synapse 25 (Black Dyneema/Wasabi), Aeronaut 30 (Navy/NWS), Aeronaut 45 (Black Dyneema/Island), Side Effect (Black Dyneema/Ultraviolet), Co-Pilot (Black Dyneema/Wasabi), Pilot (Black Dyneema/Ultraviolet])Small Cafe Bag (Black Dyneema/Wasabi), Medium Cafe Bag (Grey/Olive), Large Cafe Bag (Black Dyneema/Solar), Daylight Backpack (Black Dyneema), and assorted accessories and smaller items in lots of colors.

Here's the new dyneema Parental Unit compared to ballistic for what can be stuffed in there...
I pulled together way more than I would actually carry in this bag, to stuff the dyneema version and then see how much of that would fit in the ballistic...
Edit 1: sorry, only one picture loading per reply for me right now...a few more to come
Edit 2: Hmmm...no pics will upload now, getting a "failure to upload" error message. Is it me or is it the website? I have six more pics that will be coming...stay tuned!Last edited by Bijouxandbeads; 10-21-2015, 09:50 PM.
