With the Tom Bihn Nordic/Solar Side Effect.

Was in a Nordic mood as we went off to my son's brithday party earlier this afternoon.

It was a laser tag party, and the Side Effect was perfect - it held my wallet, iPhone, keys, mints, and earphones. And it allowed me to run around unhindered!

Sorry, not run - we're not allowed to run. It allowed me to move quickly around! :)

Yesterday was a cold, wet, windy day, so the perfect day to spend walking around downtown, right?

Here is the Maker's Bag, loaded with wallet, keys, and plenty of stuff sacks and Small Shop Bag in preparation for carrying purchases - as most of my planned purchases were small, the Makers Bag with Stuff Sacks was the perfect way to carry them easily:

And when we stopped at The Cheesecake Factory for dinner (and shopping recovery) and ended up with too much food as always, it turns out the Small Shop Bag is the perfect size for carrying to-go boxes:

I will have three teenagers in the house soon, and so I took the plunge and bought them all a Yeoman's Duffel for Christmas. A bit expensive, but I am happy knowing they will get a lifetime of use out of their gift... and hopefully every time they use it, remember me, their TB addicted mom, long after I'm gone.

I am grateful for TB, the company and crew he stands behind, and the TB community. Wishing all of you precious time with family and friends, a blessed Christmas, and a wonderful New Year!

Small Shop Bag goes to Ikea!!

Yesterday I made a "quick" Ikea trip to pick up some bookshelves and hangers. Since I needed "just one thing" from the Marketplace area, I didn't bother to pick up a cart or a yellow bag on my way in. Welllllllllllllllll, we all know how that goes, and by halfway through the Marketplace I was doing some fancy juggling to avoid dropping anything. Small Shop Bag to the rescue, it's nearly the size of a yellow Ikea bag, much easier to carry, and I just happened to have one in my Small Cafe Bag! So I tucked my items into it and wandered the rest of the store, adding a few more things as I went. Then when it came time to pull furniture from the warehouse area, the SSB was so easy to just set aside for a few minutes while loading, then balanced easily on top of a cart full of furniture!

My oldest will be going off to college in the fall. He has already said he wants a Maker's Bag, although he wants one in Forest/Steel. I think he would get a lot of value out of a Yeoman's Duffel as well.

As an aside, I know our Christmas tree is already ripe with TB gifts. I know for a fact there's an A45 (Aubergine/Zest) waiting for me, and I personally put a MB (Black/Steel) under it for my husband. I suspect there are a few accessories scattered under it as well. Oddly enough, this year we didn't buy anything for our kids in TB this year. Our oldest loves TB and has several items. My younger two have somehow managed to remain uninfected by TBAS. It's only a matter of time, though. It WILL happen eventually!

We were coming over to my my brother's for Christmas, and my sister called and asked if we could bring over the Keurig, as the one there was not working. We no longer have a Keurig - I really like making coffee in a French Press.

I thought, what's the best way to bring over my coffee grinder, container with coffee beans, two individual serving size (12 oz) French Presses, and two extra carafes (I should get a larger French press), and it was clear -- the Moveable Feast! :)

I love using a French Press. After breaking a few, we've switched to a non-glass one that holds 48 oz.

                              Also recommend their coffee.
