      SA or NFTD?

I so need to learn how to fluently use tabatalk so this is as good as an oportunity than everything else. ;-)

Just arrived at the hotel, this is the individual bags that I brought, though there is a Small Cafe Bag in the Smart Alec in case I need it.

I'm knitting a Fisherman's sweater for my son. Today is the first day I could attempt to pick it up. It is sweet therapy to me. I'm being treated for pulmonary embolisms in each lung. To say I am thankful to still be here is an understatement. I'm so happy and thankful!

              Much healing thoughts your way.

Beautiful, beautiful pattern, your son is very lucky both for the gift and especially for his lovely Mom!

I'm so sorry you're in the hospital. It looks like you are well prepared for your (hopefully brief) stay. That is beautiful cable work, although I hope your son doesn't also live in Florida since he wouldn't be able to wear it as much as it will deserve to be worn. I use a travel tray for my knitting as well - it's a wonderful travel yarn bowl/project bag (mine is right behind me, stuffed to the gills with a shawl). I suggest you not share your exact whereabouts with the forum (did you say Nordic?)

Get well soon and enjoy your knitting time!

We're grateful you're ok, Mausermama! Sending good thoughts your way for your recovery. We're also sending you a surprise today, but it's something you can only hint about...
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

Thinking of you. I hope the healing journey continues smoothly.

A beautiful jumper and lovely to see the travel tray used that way, such a versatile object.

I hope you're soon on the mend and are feeling better!

I love the colors of the Sirka you have -- if you don't mind my asking, where did you get that one? (The sweater is looking great so far!)

@prairiegl, This is not @Mausermama, but this year the makers of the Sirka counter advertised over on Ravelry that if people placed orders on the Sirka web site between December 11 and December 13, they would be able specify custom colors for the hands on the counter and for the Bento box container for the device:

Not usually … but coming up, on December 11 through 13 only, you’ll have the opportunity to order a gift set in custom colors, so you could choose the red, orange, yellow counter (which I call “Fire”) and a bento box in the color of your choice. Details here and here.
(The links are to Ravelry forum group threads, so you won't be able to go there unless you have a login on Ravelry. The Ravelry post I quoted appeared on December 1, 2015 in the middle of a thread titled "Finally here… the Maker's Bag" where people were discussing items they planned on putting into the Maker's Bag, and the poster was the person who would be making up said custom Sirka counter color combinations before Christmas. Normally, you can purchase Sirka counters here in either the "Bird Colorway" (Yellow, Grey, and Seafoam hands on the counter; yellow lid on the Bento box) or the "Dolphin Colorway" (Seafoam, Grey, and Purple hands on the counter; Seafoam lid on the Bento box). There's also a "Rainbow" 2 counter set with red, orange, and yellow counter hands with red lid, plus seafoam, blue, and purple hands with purple lid).

Anyway, this was a 1-shot time period when you could put in a custom order where you could mix and match your Sirka colors! I assume that @Mausermama took advantage of the custom order period.

Thank you! Funny, I was joking with my kiddo earlier this week that this sweater just might kill me. It's a toughie for sure! I'm now bound and determined to finish the sucker and survive the experience!!!
