I obtained a CoPilot for a friend; to insure I would not adopt the CoPilot I obtained a packing cube shoulder bag (PCSB) for myself to compliment the packing cube backpack that I find exceedingly useful. The PCSB is indeed a useful piece of art.
First, a size comparison of the CoPilot (empty) and PCSB (comfortably loaded):

I was amazed How much the PCSB could hold. I kept looking for a false bottom, but did not find one ;-)
In the PCSB is a netbook, hiking guide, Monster Energy Drink, Journal and writing implement, a lighter to simulate the lip balm many forum readers seem to carry, a cell phone and a jacket. Here is a photo of the contents:

The only improvement I could suggest is the inclusion of a ring to attach organizer pouches to, similar to the PCBP.
