A box of Awesomeness! (Black/Wasabi SCB + Love from Seattle)

On Friday, these things arrived at my door:

Excuse the lousy photo. I was crazed by the Suddenly WARM WEATHER and temporarily lost all sense of good photography.

Here's a closeup of the other side of the postcard:

    AWWWWWW! *squeeee*

My box of Awesomeness included: the super postcard, a TB sticker (swag! yippee! thank you!), an Ultrasuede Strap Wrap (which I promptly lost somewhere in my house - the one pictured was pilfered from one of my other bags), and a SCB in Black/Wasabi.

I think I've told this story on the forum before, but I'll tell it again now for completeness. My introduction to Tom Bihn products was way back in 2005-ish. I went to a conference for the software package I supported at work, and a woman sitting next to me in one of the sessions was carrying a black SCB. I didn't know it as a SCB at the time. It was just this cool black bag that had an interesting flap. I stared at it out of the corner of my eye instead of paying attention to the speaker. (It's okay; I don't support that software anymore so it doesn't matter that my education was incomplete.) Can you believe how foolish I was? I chatted with this woman about other stuff, like Jane Austin, but never once said "OHMYGOOGLEILOVEYOURBAG!" which is totally how I would start a conversation now. I did, however, file away the name on the tag for future reference. Then, in 2010, I discovered the Swift and tricked my poor, unsuspecting husband into buying one for me. The rest is history. :-)

It feels really cool to have added that first TB sighting to my collection. :-D

I thought they were quite festive. But...now that you mention it..if you rake your yard and put the leaves into a big pile you could take some REALLY cute pictures of the boys!!

I would willingly receive such photos in my inbox to aww over. Just saying...
