To add to what @badger and @moriond have written, the DLBC is a perfect solution if you want to have a professional looking laptop case that you can also easily fit into a TriStar or Western Flyer. It is sharp looking with no bulges or extra attachments to take away from the clean look.

I just took it in as my EDC to work today and I must say that is very nice to carry a lightweight bag to work and back.
I was pleasently surpised that it fits my 14" work laptop (Dell e7440) in a protective case very well.

I love the front pockets - especially the front slash pocket - very convenient to put my big Samsung Note II or Passport/Plane tickets.
The fact that all the pockets - front to back - are zippered protects things even more from the weather.
The front horizontal zipper pocket is divided inside into 2 sections - each section holds a 3D organizer cube perfectly.
There are 2 O-Rings in each of the horizontal zippered compartment to hook on lots of pouches.
I also like that the 3 main pockets all have double zippers so I can position the pulls anywhere I want that is convenient.

The carry handles - though made of strong webbing - are sewn such that they fold together well. The case by itself has enough rigidity to keep its form even when empty.

Also, check out the different logo - Niceeee! It is similar to the one on the Founder's Briefcase but instead of mountains, it has tall buildings/skyscrapers.

        Great work TB Team!

        Cheers!
TB Ballistic Black/Iberian Dyneema backpacks and briefcases for every occasion together with my cherished Nordic and Solar Dyneema!

Maybe I should get the Navy so I can tempt YOU with it at the meet up. :)

I think there sould be secret produkt testing in Europe too. I would consider to take that burdon uppon me.

As the owner of both an 11" MBA and an iPad, as well as a lover of Moleskines, I feel that the DLBC is just the bag I need for trips to the cafe to do a bit of writing. I'd been hankering for a horizontal messenger bag, preferably a bit smaller than an Imago, and the DLBC fits the bill perfectly. OK, Tom, I'm sold!
              Collections:
              Work EDC: SE + S19
Leisure: SCBs, FJN, Swift, lots of YSSs
Travel: WF + Pilot or SA, with SE/SCB
General organisation: More pouches, stuff sacks and cubes than you can shake a keystrap at!
Favourite TB colours: aubergine, forest (sniff!), linen, wasabi, UV
Hoping for: A new dyneema colour for YSSs; a Linen Side Effect; the return of Portable Culture!

Nope - I'm hopeless! Just emailed Luke back to ask for a Linen DLBC to be added to my order :)

Does the Navy Cordura coordinate well with the Navy Ballistic? I'm thinking I want to get the Navy to match my TS instead of the Dyneema, but only if it'll look good.

(Also, grr, I sorta hate Cordura because it's owned by Koch Industries, but what can you do?)

Question about the DLBC - will a SE and a small (hat, fingerless mitts) knitting project fit in this bag?

That was fast! I have to wait for mine (yes, I got one, in NAVY) because I have a SE that's still on back order. I hope it arrives before I leave on the 21st!

I think the DLBCase will fit a SE and small knitting project. the volume is 12 liters vs the 13.5 liters of the Imago. I can fit a Side Effect next to a Field Journal Notebook in the main compartment, although you could also slip the Side Effect into the diagonal front zippered pocket:

Daylight Briefcase in Plum, Plum FJN, and Steel Parapack/UV Side Effect being slipped into main compartment. View is of back of bag with French Blue Daylight Backpack folded into thirds, and lying across the back zippered pocket.

moriond: thank you for the picture! Plum and French blue make a great pair. I will combine thous too only the other war around: the French Blue Daylight Briefcase with my Plum Daylighter. And if I want to match... well than I can use the French Blue Daylighter...

                              (I might have a bag-related Problem...)

Thanks an Darcy, Hannah, Tom Bihn and all of the Crew to make this so much fun!!!

Navy was my second choice! Just a beautiful color. And very business-compatible.

But this DLBC is for my personal laptop, so I can be a brighter with the color.
