My Travel Cubelet worked very well holding the tall customs form tucked inside of our three stacked passports at the train station in Vancouver. After customs, I put the passports back into my (older style, larger) Passport Pouch, which fits easily into the TC. (I tested one of the newer larger Passport Pouches and found it fits too tightly into the TC for my tastes.)

A wonderful and warm spring day at Lake Constance with my L15. Great carrying comfort for 9.5 miles.

I want to give that extra "likes" for the classical reference to go along with Hadrian's Wall!
I have a bunch of great bags. Favorite color combos include Aubergine/Island, Navy/Solar, Forest/UV, Original Halcyon/Wasabi, Cloud/Viridian... and now also Seapine/UV!

I've fulfilled my dream of palindromic-colored nested bags! Navy/Ultraviolet Pilot with Aubergine/Island Side Effect inside: blue purple purple blue. Forest/UV A45 with Aubergine/Wasabi Co-Pilot inside: green purple purple green.

Took my kids to children's A&E / urgent visit today (our regular doc closes at noon on Thursdays and yes, my kids always get sick on a Thursday!!!). We are lucky enough to have a children's hospital right in town- I suspect the phrase 'Children's Hospital' sounds quite serious but that's where you're sent if your regular doctor is closed and your kid has a mysterious rash, a fever, or other ailment.

I think I'll do another post later about the contents but for now here's a pic of my trusty Parental Unit (EDC) and my L15, which is currently my Children's A&E go-bag.

The L15 works really well for me in this role. The L 15 will never become so large as to be unwieldy, and being able to wear it on my back while managing all the other stuff makes it exactly what I want out of a hospital bag- it is unobtrusive and holds all the emergency stuff elegantly. My issue with it as an EDC (I carry a lot of small stuff and I don't want it all on top of each other) is moot here as I really only need to access the toy bag frequently and that sits right on top of the rest of the stuff.

I am so happy I found a role my L15 excels in!

Glad it wasn’t anything too serious! I like the idea of a children’s go-bag - it would be useful for times when I don’t have time to pack/refill things for my kid in my primary bag. That might be a good use for one of the small zip top shop bags I pre-ordered.

Amtrak from NYC. The L15 is perfect for schlepping around the city.

My Side Effect in Nordic Halcyon did great in fanny pack mode while chasing two five-year-olds around an indoor playground in Austin, Texas. Here it is during a quick Starbucks break afterwards.
