My Paradigm has truly become a beloved bag companion. This morning it visited the Wellesley Cafe and Bakery while I enjoyed some freshly made spinach feta quiche and Thai iced tea. It watched on while I took some research notes for my new book project.

My Packing Cube Shoulder Bag (with the Design Lab label) felt quite at home at the Pavillon Le Corbusier in Zürich today.
Took a day off after a work trip to Switzerland. Had to stuff my ridiculously large work laptop into my WF, which didn‘t leave enough room for another bag, such as my Side Kick. So the PCSB was a good compromise.

Just returned home from another gorgeous hiking weekend! This time I took my Synapse 25 GE as a backpack and a medium and small Yeoman for clothes and again my large Canary Zip-Top Shop Bag (which cheers me up every time I see it) for the hiking shoes. in case you're wondering why 2 folks need so much stuff just for the weekend: We needed bath robes for the sauna in our hotel, some sweaters for the cold nights in the Black Forest and I am not a minimalist traveller anyway ;)
Visiting the Rothaus brewery, home of one of the best German beers (just my humble opinion). Fun fact: it was founded in 1791 by Benedictine monks and became a state-owned enterprise in 1806 which it still is today!

Two weekends ago my wife and I made the six hour drive south from the Chicago suburbs to spend a weekend exploring the western half of the Shawnee National Forest.
Not sure how many other folks out there are using a Co-Pilot for dayhiking, but it’s been my go-to bag for the activity.
Since TB hasn’t yet made a backpack with a truly breathable back panel (and I get serious heat rash wearing packs with solid fabric backs) I’ve taken a liking to medium sized crossbody bags - bigger than a camera bag but smaller than a messenger or briefcase. They leave my back open and it helps me stay a lot cooler on summer hikes like this one.
It also has a dedicated water bottle compartment! Super important for warm weather hikes, too.
Other than water, it holds all the essentials: sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, a head net, packable baseball hat, packable raincoat, simple first aid kit, point and shoot camera, and power banks in ADDITION to all the everyday carry stuff I keep in the bag when I’m not day hiking.
I’ve been an avid reader of the forums for as long as I’ve been a Tom Bihn customer (it was reading these posts that led to my first purchase) and I’ve been meaning to make myself a more active member, so I’ll probably get to posting actual reviews of my most loved and often used bags in the near future.6 PhotosT45, TS, WF, Medium YD, Mini YD, NFTD, Stowaway, SN30, SN22, GE SN22, S19, ADX31, Cambiata, L15, DLBP, MT, SZTSB, CP, SK, EC, LGD, Bummer, P.I.K.A., HLT1, SSK, DSK, FJN, STT, 3DOCs, etc.

Large double carabiner hit the South Kaibab Trail in April. It was purely there to support baby yoda on his adventures.1 Photo"Not all who wander are lost"
