Where did your TB bag go lately

The Geibi Gorge (Geibikei) in Iwate has some of the most stunning views as you ride a slow boat on the waters.

Taking a cruise at Matsushima Bay in Miyagi prefecture is one of the nicest ways to enjoy the sights and the islands.

Shiogama fish market is one of the largest fish markets in Japan. It's not as well-known as the Tsujiki one in Tokyo but totally worth visiting. If you are done buying your seafood at the stalls, you can buy a ¥300 set of rice and miso soup to create your own personal donburi.

We moved around by train and bus a lot and having the right bags helped tremendously.

There are way less large lockers at the train stations so if you lug a big wheeled luggage there, you may not be able to find one. Our two Tom Bihn bags fit into a medium ¥500 locker with space to spare.

Domestic: South and North Carolina to visit friends; NYC next weekend for combo fun/work trip. International: Looking forward to Dublin in May and Morocco in September! I'll take photos next time :P

Bags have been A30, S25, TSSs, keystraps, etc. I recently placed two orders in quick succession to finally try out the S19, Daylight Backpack, and the Side Kick. Not sure if I'll keep all of them (given the backpack overlap) but regardless, will use whatever I keep for my daily and other travels. I'm particularly excited to see my combos in black halcyon and island when they arrive.

Yesterday my new MB took me to watch a fat bike race, lunch, a kite festival on a frozen Minneapolis lake, US Pond Hockey National Championships (photo), St Paul Winter Carnival and dinner. All done exceptionally well.

Here are my regular travel companions for the trips from Asia back to the US for a visit.... My Halcyon team...
Tri-Star, DLBC, with the piggy-backed Side Effect on the front. Here we're sitting at Kualanamu Airport in Medan, waiting for our flight to Singapore, which will then take us to the US.
Even on crowded flights, the gate agents have never even given me a second glance, on any continent. And those side handles on the TS? Genius.

This year I went to the same place. They had different Icesculbtures and I wore a different Backpack. So even so everything was different there was still Royality involved.

Monarch shop bag on the light rail on the way to MSP yesterday. Its maiden voyage! Enlisted in sign-carrying duty. I think monarch is my favorite Halcyon color of all.

I wish I had photos, but took my pilot and side kick (with aeronaut 45) to Israel. Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Dead Sea, Masuda, Jaffa, etc. all very nice and the bags did wonderful.

At the pediatrician's office with boy3 this morning.
Nordic/UV MB with a Sitka and Fjord PCSBs inside and a medium YSS along with my EDC Verde/UV SK :) I had initially gotten the MB for me but it's been working great as a diaper bag for boy3. The absolute shoulder strap works perfectly with this bag for me because after the 2 shots, I was carrying the 2 bags and a little boy to the car!

I hope your boy has recovered from his shots.

Hiking at Perdido Key State Park with my new Synapse 19.
I love that Black/Halcyon color and material.
Thanks for the great photos of the Synapse. The last one with the Black Halcyon in the sunlight finalized my decision to get that same colour for a S25.

Thank you :) He took a much needed long nap and was running around bothering his 2 older brothers by the evening time. They were busy finishing up their projects for school. Yup, he's backkkkkkk;)

Short day hike with my S25. I am blown away how much gear this pack can hold.
