      @traveltech, I just checked that duffel on a flight from Narita to O'Hare and then O'Hare to Madison. It was packed pretty full of my dirty clothes and it was fine. I'd check it again, but personally I wouldn't put anything in it I couldn't afford to lose if it didn't make it. I took the A45 on the plane filled with souvenirs.

                Mom and I are road-tripping our way through South Island, New Zealand, for about ten days. We are covering Queenstown, Milford Sound, Wanaka, Oamaru, and Dunedin.

                I'm traveling with my A30 and S19, and she has her Little Swift and DLBP (and a medium sized luggage because she wants to shop for the grandkids).

                The photo below is on the way to Glenorchy.

                This is Queenstown by night.

                Lake Hawea, a sight to behold.

                At the Dunedin Railway Station.

                We stop a lot for coffee when we drive. Because New Zealand coffee is the best. This is Merino Country Cafe, Omarama.

                When in Wanaka, you must take a photo of That Wakana Tree.

                Mom and me at the Katiki Beach North Reserve Rest Stop, near Palmerston.

                Lindis Pass, as we drove from Wanaka to Oamaru.

                  @Perseffect,

                  As a point of interest for your Wasabi detailing efforts, they continued to sell Wasabi Brain Cells as one of the more popular color alternatives to Black, long after Brain Cells in other colors (Crimson, Deep Blue, Olive, Cayenne, Steel, etc.) were no longer available. Here's an example of a Size 4X vertical Wasabi Brain Cell inside of a new (Gray-Grid) Nordic Halcyon/Northwest Sky Daylight Backpack that I posted (#657) nearly a year ago in the Discussion of New Colors, New Designs thread:

                  @hillview,

                  They also added Island Cord Zipper Pulls at the end of January, if you want to add matching accents to the Western Flyer you bought for your DH. You can also get longer lengths of just the cord if you want to experiment with more elaborate knots.

                    @mrbrown, lovely photos of you and your Mum enjoying New Zealand. I particularly liked the photos of the Dunedin Railway Station - my great-grandfather was supervising architect for its construction.

                      That railway station was so beautiful! We really enjoyed visiting it!

                              My S25 took a vacay in Austria skiing (Hintertuxer Gletscher).

                              It was a tad to large to use as a skii backpack, (to me atleast - my friends loved it as they could dump all their crap in my S25 - they even had a pocket each ;) ), but considering it doubled as my carry-on and walk about town bag it was great. . Next time I'll put the rope tabs on the zippers - will make it very easy to open with gloves on I'm guessing.

                              I did take some pics of my packing (multiple TB bags involved) but will post that later. Skii trips does pose a bit of a problem (for me atleast) since skii boots are not exactly packing-cube material....
